Is Amini looking to sign for someone or is that just wishful thinking?

+xIs Amini looking to sign for someone or is that just wishful thinking? Would be a bloody good signing, would be a decent replacement for O’Niell which I think is the big gap in our recruitment compared to last year.

Do you blokes think DWH will start this season? I got him in my fantasy team so I want him to do well and I remember he had a difficult season last year because Fowler didn’t start him

I got him in my fantasy team so I want him to do well and I remember he had a difficult season last year because Fowler didn’t start him I thought he would be the first choice starter on the left side of our attack but it looks like Champness has that spot now. he will be the bench replacement for our attacking line though so I would expect him to get more minutes than at the start of last season. almost guaranteed 20+ minutes a game with Smac not getting younger, Champness still quite raw and Kudo being new to the league.

Yeah agree. He made 21 appearances last season which was slightly more than the previous year but he just wasn’t able to click or kick on. Not sure I’d have him in my fantasy team as he’s likely to play a bit part off the bench this season unless injury ruins someone else’s season, and when he goes play its most likely going to be out side where he doesn’t seem to score much from.

+x+xRoar v WU, Sunday 20th on the Gold Coast. Might be a match worth seeing to gauge the team This will be a good test providing both sides put out a strong XI.
The major flaw when we played them in finals was an inability to finish - can’t say I’m optimistic we’ve fixed that yet but lets see

I found it bloody frustrating to see their less skilled players hacking, stumbling into and rugby tackling our team with little sanction. It was not a time to 'let the game flow' but they did to the detriment of the game.

However if you suspect some kind of tactics may be used by the opposition you must have preparations in place to adjust your play or your approach to what could eventuate. Im thinking Roar would now be accessing the oppositions play and planning. Same would be said for the opposing team accessing the Roar.

However if you suspect some kind of tactics may be used by the opposition you must have preparations in place to adjust your play or your approach to what could eventuate. Im thinking Roar would now be accessing the oppositions play and planning. Same would be said for the opposing team accessing the Roar. We would see that playing a physical side in the aleague - and yes, that is up to coaches to work round. In the playoff game I think it was actually more of a lesser skilled team trying hard and accidentally fouling time after time. Not a deliberate tactic. Same sort of thing in sports like basketball, where a quality side will be relatively clean with their defending - but an amateur team will barge, slap and generally cause mayhem and injury because they just aren't able to anticipate what is going to happen. It is up to the refs to call enough on a series of accidental fouls and issue cards rather than just letting it go or pulling it back for a simple kick. "They can't help it" is no excuse for ignoring both the action and the impact on the game.
When I wear their colours, I am the club.

So couldn't make it to the game today, but judging by the Twitter updates, there were lots of shots, no goals, and a 2 - 0 loss. Hopefully that new striker gets here soon.
