Unfortunately, the original AA thread has been too popular for its own good. Many users have been having issues with opening and using the thread.

Creating the sequel which should speed things up again.

And for old time's sake:

Corey Gameiro came on in the 63rd min for FC Eindhoven in their 2-0 loss to De Graafschap

:)

If Brighton don't want Ryan, plenty of others will, says Meulensteen

https://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/if-brighton-don-t-want-ryan-plenty-of-others-will-says-meulensteen

The Continent or J.League would be ideal destinations for me.

Thanks for making this thread. What would be good to do as well is maybe remind each other when matches are on so we can watch live. Otherwise really like reading everyone’s posts

Hull (1st) v Portsmouth (2nd) coming up. Elder and Williams starting.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Graham Potter: ‘Ryan has freedom to leave Brighton’:

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11741/12166569/mat-ryan-brighton-goalkeeper-has-freedom-to-leave-says-graham-potter

Potter basically confirming that Sanchez will be given a run of games now and that Maty will either have to accept life as #2 in the immediate term at Brighton, or move elsewhere to go back to being a #1.

Brighton & Hove Albion have told goalkeeper Mat Ryan he is free to find a new club in January. He is valued between £7million to £10million. (Football Insider)

https://www.brightonandhoveindependent.co.uk/sport/football/brighton-and-hove-albion/brighton-hove-albion-star-set-ps10m-exit-arsenal-close-highly-rated-defender-gossip-3072396

That's $12.5M AUD - $18M AUD. Would easily break the record for largest transfer fee ever paid for an Australian player.

This Mat Ryan situation has come out of the blue for me.

I had no idea he wasn't wanted since he has always been playing.

Same, every time i see BHA play all i see is an absolutely rubbish defence. Ryan's season hasn't been his best but i don't think a change will make a difference.
Would love to see him have another crack in Spain but not likely after the valencia failure.

Given that Viduka's fee paid by Leeds to Celtic in 2000 was £6m, those figures don't look like they're adjusted for inflation.

Using the Bank of England's inflation calculator, £6m in 2000 is worth £10.175m in 2019, which at the current exchange rate would be $18.045m AUD.

Am I missing something here? Huddersfield bought Mooy from Man City for £10 million, which today is just under AUD$18 million.

Clean sheet for Langerak. Fewest goals conceded by any team. Nagoya finish in 3rd and get an ACL playoff. Looks like they'll play Melbourne City.
Yokohama FC 3-1 Yokohama Marinos. Marinos finish 9th.  14 wins, 5 draws, 15 losses
