+x+xSo couldn't make it to the game today, but judging by the Twitter updates, there were lots of shots, no goals, and a 2 - 0 loss. Hopefully that new striker gets here soon. Yeah lots of shots, frustrating in that regard. I thought they were better on the pitch than WU though. Familiar story though - against the top 3 sides last year (SFC, City and Nix) we put in credible and competitive performances (bar the one result) but struggled for goals. If Moon is going to be less rigid with his defence he has to fix the goal scoring.

Yeah, surely they have to get the NSW clubs out and quarantined in another state asap.

Yeah lots of shots, frustrating in that regard. I thought they were better on the pitch than WU though. Agree. I was there and thought Brisbane significantly the better side. Can anyone's tell me what who number 24 was for Brisbane at right wing? Thought he was excellent.

He scored the goal against Newcastle I believe.

There are no flights from the Gong to Brisbane so unless they plan to bus it up to Brisbane they’re pretty much screwed, and the Nix have been inside the Greater Sydney area recently which means they have to quarantine on arrival anyway.
The start to the AL season looks like it will be marked with a whole load of “P” games which were just going to have to get used to I guess.

It all depends on the good folk of NSWs now; the behaviour of the Avalon couple appears to be the cat that let the virus out of the bag once more - if there’s more selfish acts like that then we’re in for a long slog .... but NSWs has managed to control outbreaks before so it’s all down to people’s behaviour now.

He's a kid who stuck it out with Western Pride when they were struggling, went on trial at CCM played a few games for them and then went back to Brisbane and seemingly found his feet. you could tell he was a quality player even back then. Watch out for him lighting it up this season.

+xCity (H) Victory (A) Victory (H) Glory (A) tough start. Yep.MV and PG should be hitting the ground running after their ACL games. But it’s hard to find any easy games even if you add in the NSW teams. CCM maybe. But who else? According to betting agencies and tipsters we are expected to finish 10th.

We certainly have goal scoring issues but I see us as solid midtable. Bottom 3 seems a stretch.
