I know some predictions were made in the previous topic, but considering fixture changes and capacity restrictions altering thought Id do it again.
Western United v Adelaide - 7k Brisbane Roar v City - 10.5k Western Sydney v Macarthur - 12k (Covid will impact what should've been a solid crowd number) CCM v Newcastle - 8.5k

Good weather permitting Roar could go close to full house at 11500.

Just had a look at ticket sales for each game;
wu vs Adelaide premium a and away tickets have sold out.
Brisbane vs city looks like it’s selling well still heaps of available in premium seating and general admission.
Western Sydney vs MacArthur away bay is nearly sold out. Still a lot of tickets available in each category.
F3 derby: platinum and gold have sold out. Both away bays have sold out. Still tickets in yellow army and general admission.

Yeah, im not one who usually thinks the crowd numbers are dodgy but this seems a bit off, considering only the angles visible on screen. However, considering GMHBA is a 36,000 seat stadium, only about 1 in 7 seats need to be full to get 5,000 in. So realistically the stands may look quite empty but there can be a lot of empty seats and still have this reported number.

Ill try not to flog a dead horse on this and it really is no suprise that this year (what with covid and travel restrictions) the team nobody wanted is struggling to get a couple of thousand punters but I just cant stomach the blatant lying..5k is shit anyway but. I would be suprised if that crowd was more than 3k....why bullshit about it????? Anyway I dont care about numbers, we struggle to get 1000 at NPL games sometimes too. I saw pictures of the Brisbane game tonight and, not knowing crowd or capacity, that looked like a pretty awesome atmosphere...

+xAus stadiums is saying there was only 6k at last nights match That would mean 10 “pods” were empty - or an entire side if the ground.
The figure bring quotes looks like the attendance for the Roar/City FFA Cup game a couple of years back.
Roar haven’t yet released attendance, which is odd

is there any point to this thread until covid19&20 fucks off into irrelevancy or when fuckstain premiers stop using border closures and random number generators applied to crowd restrictions as a first response

Roar haven’t yet released attendance, which is odd OneFootball has attendance at 6279.

Not in the hundreds of photos all over the Internet they didn’t

+x+xAus stadiums is saying there was only 6k at last nights match seemed like a lot more That’s the beauty of smaller venues, it always looks more.
Granted plenty of empty seats visible but it still looked good. For Brisbane simply no need to ever play in a stadium that holds more than 10-12k ever again. Most teams are in that boat.

Why would the official attendance be incorrect?

I just reported the number from the OneFootball match page. I got to watch the game on Kayo for the first time. The question is why was the crowd down on past games. Did Covid-19 have an effect? Does the fact that Fowler is gone have an impact? Roar were decent in the first half and stopprd Maclaren from scoring. No mean feat imo I just do not believe the number from Geelong which goes with my nickname for them, Fraudsters.

That's more like it. Brisbane Roar away will be one game I'll have to go to, that's if and when the border opens.
