+x+x+xNo Ryan and the bench keeper was some kid. Just shocking. Sanchez with a late foul that caused a pen but it went over. 1:0 loss for Brighton. Potter is dead to me - after the service Maty gave the club, it's a disgrace how they've treated him. Just unfollowed & unliked Brighton on social media. The way he's been treated is just so disrespectful, and doesn't really make sense. There's probably more to it than we know. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of an off field issue. Maybe he fell out with someone at the club or talked back to Potter himself. I think Maty had a lot to do with getting Aaron over to Brighton and then Aaron left which I think maybe upset Potter as Maty..possibly asked Potter to bring him in. They did get a good fee for Mooy though.. that's the only thing I can think of.

In terms of youngsters who wont play for us, Liam Chipperfield played the first half in a friendly for FC Basel against a second tier side. The first half finished 2-0 with the match ending 5-0. the full match can be found here. He is #29, he wins the ball at 30:40 to start a counter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3KzT8uwaAs

Gersbach is back!! Starting in a club friendly. Who knows, he might be in contention for a game or 2 in the regular season?

Gersbach played 45 minutes today in a friendly. Article I saw on the agf Twitter said he hasn’t played because he’s had a niggling injury that’s been around for a while and he’s going to play more games now. Great news

Klaus has joined Düsseldorf from Wolfsburg. More competition for Borrello. I anticipate a permanent move to a Bundesliga 2 club in summer.

He’s clearly talented and we need players like him to come good. He was great at the U23s where he played nearly every minute and was a leader within the side.

Behich starting Borrello bench
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

It’s hard to find a game to watch with an Aussie playing because his either on the bench or playing for a team that’s not on tv

No Ryan and they have some kid on the bench. Arsenal whispers give me some hope but what expectations are set regarding Leno? The one positive is Arsenal do switch up keepers often enough.

No Blackwood. Iredale bench.
Sainsbury returns from long injury on bench.
Lyden, Burgess, Williams, Edwards, Elder starting. Maynard-Brewer bench. Clean sheet for Wright.
Been a long time but Elder still needs to wait for his first call up.

+x+xNo McGree for Birmingham City, not even on the bench. What a dud move. Birmingham are run in a messy way. They're not very good on the pitch and the 11 changes all the time.

Yeah so makes me wonder what McGree was thinking when he joined the club. At a crucial time in his career where he needs to play, especially if he is only joining an MLS club next season. Borello, Arzani, McGree and Ryan must move on this window.

Panos Armenakas scored a goal! For a first division side, in Europe, in a league match! He came on in the 88th minute for Zulte-Waregem in their 5-1 away win against Waasland-Beveren, and scored their fifth and final goal in the 90th minute. Been trying to find some vision with no luck, but according to my app it was a left footed shot from outside the box. As far as I can tell, that is his first goal in a senior competitive match. He’s 22. He’s now made three sub appearance for Zulte since arriving during the recent transfer window, this being his first goal/assist.

Keeper made a huge error, passed it straight to him, goal was open. Still had to stay composed to score though.

Caleb Watts, member of the Australian U17 team at the 2019 U17 World Cup was an unused substitute for Southampton against Leicester City in the Premier League. Big news! On his 19th birthday.

He ran straight to the manager to celebrate, that’s a good sign that they have faith in each other.

He starts nearly every game for Southampton u23s & just got named on the bench for a Premier League team at 19 in an actual league game!! He looks the goods

Still had a bit to do. Showed great composure there for a youngster lacking game time.
