+xAny predictions on where he could end up? The Podcast around a year ago with Fox had some very interesting pauses and deflections when Peacock pressed on the A League and especially Victory. Leckie mentioned he enjoys the prospect of returning home and his tone sounded it's much sooner than later. As a fan you'd like to believe it as a promise. Perhaps more realistically people have mentioned the J league which would be a good stopover before a potential A League return. Bundesliga 2 beckons and I'm surprised there has been no link to anyone. Their budgets are perhaps under pressure for the wage but Braunschweig, Sandhausen and Darmstadt need some help.

Would love to be able to watch him week in week out in the A-League if someone could afford his wages.

AP has left WU.
He hardly got a look in there but showed a bit of promise at AU. Really hope another club picks him up.

That was a dud move considering how many youngsters AU have been blooding in the meantime. I liked him and thought he showed a bit of fire, but he was always unlikely to get ahead of Berisha (remember they had Scott MacD at the start of last season too).

He could be followed by a new coach too.

Celtic urged to sell Tom Rogic as Socceroo continues to struggle in Scotland (msn.com)Cimate activist Luisa Neubauer: 'how can we turn this anxiety into…Rallying around a causeCeltic urged to sell Tom Rogic as Socceroo continues to struggle in ScotlandScottish pundit and former Celtic academy product Simon Ferry believes the club should try to sell Australian star Tom Rogic this month. After being linked with an off-season move to the Middle East, Rogic stayed put in Scotland but has struggled to make his mark with one goal from 19 appearances this season. With Celtic 23 points shy of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership, pressure is mounting on manager Neil Lennon and he's been advised by Ferry to move on the likes of Rogic and Olivier Ntcham to allow for new signings to be made. "In terms of guys like Rogic, Ntcham, those types of fringe players I would sell them," Ferry said on Go Radio. "Rogic has been a great servant to Celtic but it's time for a change and these players have had their go. I think this will be the year that guys like them leave."If you can get rid of them in January then I would." Rogic, who remained on the bench for the Hoops' most recent clash against Livingston, has been the centre of much debate in Scotland with fans and pundits adamant the Aussie has lost some of his shine this season. “Rogic has struggled this season, he really has. He used to be the player you could rely on to produce a moment of magic, to do something special," Noel Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds last month. “But we haven’t seen much of that recently, even though the whole team has been terrible.“You look at him and he’s a shadow of his former self, like quite a few of them. He’s not fit to wear that famous jersey, and he’s not the only one.”© Provided by Sporting News #Tom RogicThe 28-year-old has played the full 90 minutes just once this season for Celtic, with former Socceroos consultant Dr Craig Duncan recently hinting some areas of his development may have been overlooked due to his technical skills. “If you cover the technical, the tactical, the psychological and the physical then you’re a superstar. If one of those is out, then you’re still going to get places," Duncan told The World Game."I’ve seen Tom play really well, particularly in the World Cup playoff against Honduras in Sydney. Sometimes when people are really technically gifted, it takes away from them working the other side of their game."Rogic, though, is a player who can win you a game with something special, and you can work with that, even if he doesn’t maybe do a job defensively."

Pohang have announced the signing of Alex Grant. He’s someone I feel would have a much bigger reputation if he played for a team on the east coast.

+xDeadline day but nothing with Leckie. Did Leckie really have that coffee with Emperor Carl (who wields a septor & requires the assistance of concubines), in the off season? Haven't heard aything since really.

So Leckie’s happy to just pick up a pay cheque then? Sounds like an odd decision considering how public he’s been about leaving Hertha for the past 2 years. Surely his agent has had a ton of time to find him something.

Wasn't there also a rumour Con Ouzounidis was going out on loan/transfer right at the start of the window. That has to have been just an approved "leak" from his agent to see if there was any interest around. Have only seen very general rumours, never a specific club linked.
I do think agents of Aussie players have free reign to call the world game and ask for an article when they are looking for a move. I think it has just happened with Hammond at Sporting CP. 6 months left on his deal, hasn't broken into the U23's (which is mostly 17-19 year olds) and out of the blue the world game has an article linking him to national teams.

If Malaysian Twitter is to be believed, Indonesian whiz kid Syahrian Abimanyu is en route to Oz to link up with Jets for the remainder of the season on loan from Johor. https://mobile.twitter.com/MarcoNegeri/status/1356263633605382147Not sure about the Albanian who was also rumored from the same club.

It’s Liridon Krasniqi, a former Kosovo international who has taken up Malaysian citizenship.

Surely his agent has had a ton of time to find him something. I just don't see where the interest will come from. He's a forward who hardly ever scores goals. His defining quality was pace, which is now diminishing. I think he's in a tough spot, and I'm not at all surprised if he's not in a hurry to leave. Any move for him now will be signficantly downwards. He's played in top 5 league. He's been the fastest player in German football. By any measure, an impressive career. Personally, I think becoming star marquee at, say, Melbourne Victory, would be a great move for him. Far better than sinking into obscurity in Europe.
