No hasnt been a problem for years and years mate, most people at Lakeside sit wherever they want.

A couple of the younger crowd stand together and chant and so on but fans of all other clubs all sit with us in the one stand.

NPL threads have always been in State League, good, bad or indifferent. That's what another poster said as well. So there is no fear or anger. Just your bitterness.

Does it honestly matter that this thread is here? Last I checked: South Melbourne are a football club based in Australia. Some of the comments are just ridiculous... If it's not of interest to you: just don't comment! Extremely simple really.

Anyway, good to see the statue is being repaired. The fact that the MP is open to potentially moving it to Lakeside, provided SM take over the costs associated with the upkeep, is also quite positive too.

Im sort of 50/50 on the statue although Belteky obviously got the Hungarian Government to agree to commission a statue of Puskas in Melbourne based on his association with South and then purposefully excluded South from any association with it (I guess he is still smarting from us not allowing him and his business partners to "buy out" our junior system instead of Victory starting their own back in the day) It certainly will get the respect it deserves if it is ever moved to Lakeside. Pakula is a good egg as a sports minister and seem to have a bit of a sympathy for the round ball.... Well done to him for responding so positively to this....

It is I agree. Brisbane can commission a statue of Angie P and place it at Lakeside as well if you want... which other legendary coaches have you had? I guess it wouldn't be fair to include Fowler, needed at least a full season to be considered.

Is the npl app worth getting?

Debatable. I watch most replays on You tube channel on TV at home (cant hack watching on a tablet or phone but thats just personal preference) -  and watch pretty much all of our matches live in person AND then watch the replays when I get home.🤣 Futball24 or Flashscores app for live scores, when Im out and about not for any particular reason but just out of habit and the first ones I got back in the day.  Lots of decent NPL sites, depending on your preference. I think "the corner flag" guys are starting up again this year and soccerscene have enjoyable articles.  Not sure if FViC will jump onboard the NPLTV bandwagon yet  like NSW and QLD. Hope that helps?
