Should TBaz hook DWZ because that was a deadset brain fart and there was no advantage in trying to get that pass away.

Good effort overall, the dumb error from DWZ ruined the half.

We should have Meaney at fullback but DWZ can be suspect in defence on the wing.
DWZ does a lot of good things but makes 1-2 dumb mistakes per game.

When Okunbor is back, drop DWZ and move Meaney to fullback.

Actually DWZ was out of position when the first try was scored.

Defence good.
Kicking game and 5th tackle options fairly good.
Attack needs a bit more work.
3 Panthers tries off turnovers of posession.
They seemed to have a lot more ball than us in the 2nd half.

I got to say, and not just because of today, there’s no group of players I’ve come to despise so much in such a short time as these Panther players.

The way they carry on after a try with their choreographed celebrations and even the way the Panthers as a club seem to think they invented football without winning anything...

The try we did score shows the value of Meaney at fullback.
Also the try he scored earlier running off Wardell.
We need a fullback who can make things happen at the opposition end.

At our end DWZ can play fullback, but in good ball, I want Meaney there everytime.

I don't have a problem with the Panthers, but I think we showed how to play against them.

Overall I think the Storm are the team to beat, a full strenght they are hard to defend against.
We haven't seen everything Harry Grant can do, he can destroy any opposition single handedly including NSW at origin. His vision and passing is the best I have seen from a dummy half.

Not one of their tries were scored off line breaks but off our mistakes and two of them were just sheer luck. Apart from the few brain farts we played with intent and everyone gave their all. I am proud that we showed we weren't going to be the easybeats they were expecting.

I think you despise them because they talk the talk and walk the walk.

I had similar feelings last year and in particular Luai who I felt was allowed to just dance in front of defences and then step and shoot through.

But i came to realise that they are just playing the game to it's full advantage, and they have players confident enough and a coach that allows them to remain flamboyant. 

On the day, they can lose to a storm team or Easts team, but chances are, they will win and win easy. The post-try antics are just them having fun. It will get boring if they just score and dont celebrate. This way, they stay focused on the grand prize for longer.

I think we are just jealous of their success.
