+x+x+xI think you're just pissed off of their "antics" and confidence levels and just cant wait to see them fail. You're just "looking" for reasons for them to fail. And you're clutching at straws. That team has too many strike weapons when they are all back from origin. You dont only measure "steel" by winning with a number of players out. It's not the litmus test. Their winning streak is "steel" enough for me. Their issue is complacency. But I'm not sure they'll be complacent in a GF again. The title is theirs to lose. No it’s not, genuinely. You tell me, do you think players can slot in and out of their team like Melbourne do? Do you think they could withstand an Easts like injury toll and still be in the eight? I’ll put it to you, Melbourne with half or more of their team out through Origin would not lose to Tigers and Sharks in consecutive weeks, in fact wouldn’t lose to either of them. And I don’t think Easts would either. And you know I’m right. It is easier to assemble talent than culture. The coach and the team leaders need to set the standard, then it is partially down to the make up and personality of the team. But I think the Panthers do have some good leaders, Fisher-Harris, Yeo, Martin, Cleary, Edwards, Too to some extent. You can't take 4 out of 5 of the leaders out of the team and expect the same results. With some luck talent alone is enough to win. Add Luai to my list above, as long as all 7 are in the 17 I give them a chance of beating anyone. Yeo is a very important and underrated player. I think a few losses have done them a favor, a much needed reality check and deflation of the hype and they found some areas they need to work on. Is it really a reality check, or will be written off as a result of being several players down???....

And I don’t think Easts would either. And you know I’m right. Dude, they lost by a point and probably played badly last night. The loss to Tigers had to come sooner or later. You just cannot win every game and your streak has to end some stage. They will probably take these losses in good stead and be fired up for the finals. Some teams need a GF loss or prelim final loss to get them ready for next time on the big stage. Others can win it on the day with no finals experience. It's just what happens on the day. Melb has built a team on mental strength, accountability and football nous in key positions. Easts built a team on highest level of skill and nous, also in key positions but probably more of them. The new rules favour the Panthers more so than Storm and Roosters. I expect them to not have any GF jitters and not fall behind like they did last year. Penrith is the side that can a GF by 50 Didn’t answer my question about comparison to Melb and Easts, because you know I’m right. And I’ll put another one to you, if The Panthers lost Cleary for the season, where do you think they’d end up? I reckon not in the 8, regardless of the talent left on the field. Melb especially, and Easts in general, write off one of their stars for the season, pick anyone you like, maybe even two, they’ll still be a genuine shot at the title. Because they got balls. Panthers not. Rubbish. I reckon you take out Cleary, Burton warms into his role and while they might lose his composure, they remain a top 4 team easily. They probably dont win every game like they have been but they still blow teams of the park. Zef if you spent as much time analyzing the Bulldogs woes rather than look for cinks in the armour of the top teams, we might get a message across to the powers that be... Now let's gets back to All black Hanson and discuss how effective he's been.....

Panthers not. No, you are right. They might not have the "balls" as you say, but neither did Broncos teams of the 1990s. They won by outscoring opposition, not defending opposition. The rules these days make it even easier for teams like Panthers to not have any resolute. Take 1 flamboyant player out and the next one comes in. Have I answered you now? What I'm saying is "balls" are overrated in today's game. You just need to create multiple scoring opportunities and have the skill to convert them. Acting skills also don't go astray. Penrith have it all in spades

That alleged coach has done zero to keep egos in check including his own to this point... Amd if anyone wants to know my problem with Cleary it’s threefold... 1. Marki crapped on about getting him here a few years ago with his shitty 40% win rate... 2. His comments last year re the Dogs 2002 side... 3. He lacks integrity as displayed by what he did at and to the Tigers...

I do know everyone was impressed by him on, think it was Tuesday? Including Gould who was there too. And you got to remember he’s a big picture long term strategy bloke, so he’s never gonna make any sense to somebody with the patience of a puppy at a food bowl anyway.

Then in the last minute the ref takes over the Knights captaincy and awards 6 again when a penalty would have made the score 12 all

+xDoes this ref know where shoulders start and a neck starts???... The intention is right but the application is chaotic and the sanctions have obviously changed. The NRL needs to be up front and explain what's going on.

CHN undoubtably falls into the shoulder of Broncos defender and somehow, the Bronco gets sent off. Game has lost the plot

Reports Meaney off to Melb next year and DWZ off to Warriors in a week or two.
The former being pretty solid, Meaney flew to the Sunshine Coast to meet Bellamy. Can’t imagine he would’ve left without a contract. DWZ seems we have to pay $400k to clear $400k.
Doubt either we’re in any long term plans so stiff shit I guess. Still don’t like paying someone to play against us… again… though.
Hope that $400k has a name to go with it.
