Walters should be at the top of that list... That squad is nowhere near as bad as they play each week...

Broncs are example of what happens if a team has good attack and poor defence.

I cant stand him so I would prefer we didnt go anywhere near him. 

Perfect example of a team with no brains.
They focused on a forward pack but forgot that you need brains.

Until they improve in the "between the ears" department,  they will remain anchored to bottom of ladder...

I’m more of the opinion that the Broncos have too many slow forwards that don’t suit the modern game. However they are also lacking halves and a hooker that have the smarts to win games. Add a young backline and a rookie coach and it’s obvious they will battle us for the woodwork again. 

As much as everybody is critical of Marki. I do agree he does have a point. We need to learn to put on plenty of points. I think having a smart and experienced spine would help. But building a young spine could be a longer but easier way of being successful over a longer period of time. 

Anybody see the under 21’s? Paul Alamoti is back. Played on the wing snd scored a try. Didn’t see the game just looked at the stats. Also noticed Kalab HaJab was playing fullback. Maybe a future at the back for him. 

They have struggled in the spine moving Milford to the halves and playing at Boyd fullback.
They had young inexpericed halves.
Milf should have been kept at fullback.
Hunt and McCollouch were replaced by inexperienced players.
The have no good defensive forwards and centres.
Plenty of dangerous ball runners, but few capable of playing long minutes and making lots of tackles.
Their inexperienced halves can't control a game and when momentum turns against them they leak plenty of points and as a result, never have the ball. It is a downwards spiral.

We were not that different earlier in the season.
Now with Jackson and Thompson in the side we have more grit and energy.
Averillo is getting better each week, the spine is improving and we are starting to build combinations.
It all starts with defence and hard running with the ball.
Of couse a team needs skill and smarts in addition, but that is the icing.
Icing with no cake doesn't work.
The Broncos can't defend, they are not resiilent, they make dumb errors.
Play to our potential we will finish above them.

Keep going Storm. We might  get rid of a couple of unwanted  records here. Biggest losing margin and most points conceded in s match

Two conflicting stories re Boyd Cordner in Herald...one by Peter Fitzsimons and one by Weidler....who seemingly seeks to canonise Cordner....even by his standards it is bad. Not much of a Fitzsimons fan...in fact not at all...but this is a very good story about sports and head knocks. If you read Widler...suggest you do so prior lunch.

Our Mounties side tried hard but the dropped ball was disgraceful. And who let Flanno kick for yardage when Lewis is easily our best long kicker at the club?
