We had a chance to win 1 or 2 games with Lewis in the halves and BBO at hooker. But he intentionally is fielding weak teams with no ability to win games.

What hope is he giving the fans for next year?

With the new rules and poor defence and discipline we have a lot less ball.

Poor defence and discipline always lead to a shambles..

We have a higher percentage of duds this season,.

A few more weeks and it is over, if we put it together we can still win.

When we have the ball, at times our attacking structures are improved.
But we lack ball runners with impact appart from perhaps Schoupp, Averillo and Meaney in patches. 

BBO is young and perhaps better suited to hooker.

Get the season over with rule it off and forget it, IMO, everyone including the coach and players need to move on.
Who cares how bad were are compared to previous eras. The spoon is the spoon, accept it and start preparing for next season.

The smarter fans are looking at the new recruits and being slightly optimistic.

This season is a trainwreck  and that is unlikely to change.

I think the difference is, he tries.
JMK doesn't try. He is a robot and goes through the motions. 

They are both liabilities any which way you see it. 
One costs you games by being predictable and not offering anything. The other overlays his hand and invariably does something stupid.

Like I said below. Getting cheese or someone like him is now of most importance.

I also like to see Avo at centre or 5/8th. Not having Lewis in the team to handle kicks has affected Avo's running game.

Hopefully Barrett learned something this season.

Starting with Thompson suspened wasn't ideal, but we were off the pace from day 1.

This preparation for next year is BS.
We have wholesale changes coming next year. We all know that. 

What we need to do is WIN games this year so we can get some winning feeling back. Win back to back games is vitally important. 

If we dont win another game or 2 this year, the coach has failed for next year. Because this losing attitude is all that the players will know. It's the only thing they are comfortable with.

The time to prepare for next year is when you try new players from reserves. 1/3 of our team next year will be from foreign players. Which means you cant prepare for next year. Till next year.
