Thing is with Stucky is he’s signed to a dev contract. I don’t know if they can go into the 30?

I think that we will need up with something like 6-8 players trailing for 2 places, with young guys who miss out getting development contracts.
IMO replace to 30 with top 35, scrap development contracts.
I agree with Gus reserve grade should travel with the NRL side and play beforehand. With the exception of injured players all of the 35 are at the game.
When players are injured young guys come into the squad.
The ellite tier of QLD cup and NSW cup should be an U23s comp. (With 2 over age players) With open age as the next level down.
Minor changes, but IMO would make a big difference.

+x+x+x+x+xHe’s not in the 30 so not till Round 10? At least As Gould said top 30 not set. Only have to name 24 in November. Things are changeable
Ok...ok...we get it! Not having a go....just taking the piss.... It could be worse.... You could be like Gladys and repeat how getting vaccinated gives you best chance of protecting yourself, your family and the community....(repeat 6 times) And my favourite line ‘let me just say this’ which means ‘I’m not actually going to answer the question you asked’…

+x+xDid anyone count the numbers? I counted around 28. There was 29 in that list I posted a week or so ago, I did count them. BTW, what’s “around 28?” That is me miscounting 29. I think they can upgrade a contract with a new contract at anytime. Stukey would need to perform in the trials. I am assuming Elliott is sacked so 2 spots open. If Elliott says the odds for drop, as the Cheese will probably take the last minimum wage gig.

Stukey seems raw, it may have been his first season of QLD cup, his numbers improved as the season progressed. The first 3-4 games didn't seem exceptional. He would need a good trial performance to push for top 30. But some chance he has never trained with an NRL squad, rapid improvement would not surpise me, it is what my hunch is.

Double vaccination at 70% gives people freedoms back, allows us to return to some normality to life as we knew it. Repeat afew more times until the reporters give up and go home....

I think in the hour before 11am they convene and come up with predetermined responses to whatever question is thrown at them. Gladys just waffles for minutes on end to the point where everyone has forgotten the actual question. It's a tactic. All I really want to know, is where does our health care system sit in terms of utilisation of: A) Hospital bed utilisation B) ICU utilisation C) Ventilator utilisation That's all I care about. Because no matter if we are 60%, 70% or 90% double vaccinated, if the above utilisations are near 100%, you can guarantee that lockdowns will persist. Because this is all about our health system capacity and nothing to do with protection of the people...

Elliott Whitehead ripped off something stupid by the bunker.
The bunker looked at that potential strip once in super slow mo and somehow decided he stripped at the ball. What a toss.
He was making a tackle, the Rooster tried to promote the ball and Whitehead reacted by trying to lock the ball in. Ball came free from a loose carry, yet just because the video ref saw a hand, he immediately claims Whitehead plays at the ball.
Yeah he motioned towards the arm carrying the ball (to wrap up the arm) but he had no intentions to strip. There were 30seconds left in the half. Why would he want to even strip?
So stupid these video refs. No logic or game awareness whatsoever.
You have to wonder if they've ever played the game let alone sport.

Never was… It's nothing but about the health care system Dman. Its the same all over the world. All countries dont want a repeat of what happened in Italy and Spain last year where people were turned away to die at home due to no hospital beds. Many countries with over 70% vaccinations are re-entering lockdowns because of it. We need auto immunity

But I have a stronger spot for Fair game. That strip call was wrong.

I recon the Dogs should submit all our missed goal kicks for a check against the new standard, only chance of avioding the spoon.
Looks like same postcode is close enough...

I'm a Dogs fan so had a good 40yrs before this Hasler hiccup.. head of operations (Gus) knows what he's doing the Peter Moore legacy lasted a long time.. was unearthed in 2002 salary cap in house potential stems from good leagues club. Anyway we will regather but doubt the rein will ever be what is was.. you have to look after your players and offer them something more as a club.. they say Bulldogs fitness and training operations is the best around but the place is a hole.. money needs to be spent on refurb or club will widdle away over time.. Perth could be an option but that's make or break with the infrastructure over there..

Frawley on the back of Burton would be better than what we have now..
Keep him away from advantage line passing game is great and he can run the ball.. I've seen Stuart has done wonders with his kicking game too

1979 Grand Final Vs St George. Have not watched it since it happened but always remember Graeme Wynne throwing the mother of all head high tackles at Peter Mortimer and missing by a gnat's dick. Had it connected it would have seen him sent off...no question....Go to 12 minute mark...we would have won had he connected...I dare say Peter Mortimer, who seemed to instinctively duck would not have been happy. https://www.nrl.com/tv/matches/telstra-premiership/1979/grand-final/extended-highlights-dragons-v-bulldogs/

I've seen Stuart has done wonders with his kicking game too He does seem to be improved, but the Roosters targeted his side in attack, with very good results. Overall this season is disappointing for Canberra fans than for us, they showed glimpses but ultimately went backwards this season and it ended badly... After 5 rounds I was hoping to avoid the spoon.... I never expected to make the 8.
