+xSo where does Asiata fit into the equation???… I put it to you Villi and HD will be calling for him to play hooker by round 6… A premiership winner not long ago, with some great ball playing skills…. And cheap too! Excellent pick up by G-Unit I still reckon, G-Unit will be trying to offload C Allen

+xSomething big breaking tomorrow. Cabinet Members rushed to top secret meeting, Labour top dogs also briefed. Some announcement out of The U.S with “major international significance.” Expected about 7am. I hope it’s aliens. Got a feeling Biden might be stepping down. I was sure climate lockdowns would happen before invisible alien lockdowns… Hardly a surprise if Biden steps aside, it was always gonna happen in the first 12 months…

Latest is pretty boring but sure to be controversial. Multi sources saying the same.
French sub deal is off. U.S Collins Class NUCLEAR subs are on.

+xBloody hell… Flicked 2SEN on… I can tell you… the only thing more boring than soccer is ‘Motorsport’… and the only thing more boring than ‘Motorsport’ is listening to people talk about ‘Motorsport’… Im with you on that one. I'd rather listen to Geoff Toovey with a sore throat

I like the alien version. They may not be friendly and they have a weird fantasy for anal probing but its' no different from scummo, gladolph and the rest. They're not friendly either and fvck us up the arse every day. Yeah let loose the aliens.... a change is as good as a holiday.

Gonna be interesting to see how all this goes down politically. Initially, I predict could be popular because everyone wants a Ferrari. But under debate there’s big risks.
Firstly, be under no illusion a nuclear sub is a pure warship. It’s meant to attack and sink ships and that’s about it. Different from a diesel which is more of a surveillance asset - you can turn off a diesel and run on batteries sitting off a coast and can’t be heard by passive means, nuclear subs make a racket because the reactor can’t be shut down. And the reason The U.S wants us to have nuclear subs is to counter China, and China is now gonna see us as a direct threat. How’s that gonna go down? It’s really sticking your head up stuff.
Secondly the cost. Nuclear sub cost around four times the cost of diesel both to build and to service - that’s a hard sell.
And lastly. Of course the nuclear thing itself, gonna be hella divisive. Because I got no doubt no country is gonna have a nuclear sub or ship capability without then taking the step to nuclear energy, and in fact I bet it’s part of the tactic.
I got a feeling it’s never gonna happen.

There's a page and survey on TK about which new player everyone is excited to see play next year...
Many are picking Burton with JAC second and TPJ next.
Im worried people are putting way too many expectations on Burton. The bloke is good dont get me wrong. He'll do his job and will do it eell enough. But he cant do the job of 10 others.
My concern is people are going to be bitterly disapointed he wont "transform" the team the way they think he will.
I believe the players that will make the biggest difference are Dufty at fullback and JAC on the wing.
Unless our hookers and forwards chabge the way they play, dont expect big things from Burton.
The biggest change will be Dufty and Burton running off Vaughan who can offload. Rather than make a 20-30m break, these guys along with JAC will finish it off.
The one silver lining next year is that it will become glaringly obvious that we need to fix the hooker issue in 2023.
Bookmark this post if you have to. I will make reference to it throughout next year

This is a monumental government stuff up. 2 billion plus down the drain and 5 years on the procurement timeline lost all because of a rush to prop up, especially SA seats before an election.

Wow…Queensland… 1984 one day,, full Judge Dredd the next…
Answer at least one randomly timed text message within 10 minutes or the cops will come knocking… awesome use of taxpayer dollars and police time…
“This means Queensland Health will be able to ensure individuals in home quarantine are at the residence they’re lawfully required to be at,” Ms D’Ath said…
How does responding to text ensure you are at the correct residence???… What if someone is taking a shit or shower???… I don’t take my phone in the shitter or shower and both can take longer than 10 minutes on occasion…

It is going to be a dangerous time for a while ,.... the subs are expensive toys, I hope we don't end up needing them.
