Zak is definitely one to keep eye on in future. Starting regularly for Blackburn Rovers under 23s at 18, signed a pro contract with them. Their u23 is near top of table for premier league 2

Macarthur FC youth midfielder Jacob Maniti called up to the Phillipines U23s squad.

Looks like Scotland stormed home in second place in their WCQ group. Four points behind Denmark, +10 goal difference. 180 minutes away from Qatar. 

I'm not sure how Scotland would fare against China but last time the Socceroos only drew 1-1 against China in the UAE. I would be more confident in saying Denmark, Austria and Israel would provide more stern opposition in comparison.

'camberwelldorjes' does/did make a valid point regarding  Scotland's WCQ group, and also right regarding 'BT' post/comments. 

That being said you too are also right. While Scotland may have had a great WCQ group campaign by getting out of their group, they still need to beat first Ukraine, then the winners of the 'Wales/Austria' tie to qualify for their first World Cup since 'France 1998' (I think/sure). So there is still a couple of tricky/hard ties they need to navigate/overcome first.

While it would be nice to see our cousins to the north-east of us qualify after such a long drought, it is still not a given.

Oh yeah and I'd be happy for Scotland for sure. Love the country and love an underdog.
