+x+x+xyes football wheels back in motion so good. I enjoyed being back to my own training this week, nothing like blowing off the cobwebs running around, feeling the ball at your feet. Arn't results posted up ? Results don't go up for trials. yer that sucks. I know some clubs wouldn't like they got done by a lower Div club but results are results. It should be listed and the Team sheets. Thats whats bugged me about having all this online and hardly any of the sections are filled in for years I see. I get some Clubs mightn't have the resource BUT surely starting line ups and subs can be posted and obviously results. So many Clubs go to the trouble of having FB for eg. I'm sure I wouldn't be alone thinking the same. FNSW website is a friggin mess by the way as well. Doing searchs at times is frustrating. If they don't have the resources to post results and line ups, maybe shouldn't be in the NPL system. Tbh, results don't really matter in preseason unless its a smashing. The last two preseasons I had at FP didn't win many but when the season started, that's where the fun began!

oh agreed, you should have someone filling in sites always. Yer nah I disagree, ofcourse we know pre season games are just that but still like to see the end result. See how new recruits may have changed things to a team from last season. So many variables I know but results just say something and positive and yes suddenly when comp starts it could be completely opposite. Thats whats great.

hehe yes agreed :P:)Went to watch PL3 Magic take on their Olympic mates last night. Obviously I wasn't expecting Magic to give them a run for the money the divide is way too much and its pre season. SO have a ex AL front 3 of Parkhouse who I've always rated, Ferriera who could have should have done more with his career long ago and ODonavan who sucks but at this level is pretty handy. Just love being out at the local grounds watching football. Magic got run over - they have a number of newbies whereas SO is pretty similar to last season and have a strong squad.

However from what i know, Matt Sim left for Manly United, and Jackson Khoury went to CCM, so we are light on wingers. The rest of the squad has been retained.

The NPL Mens draw on something called Dribl. Heh. Just click on 'filter by league' to get 1st Grade. You can also filter by club, round & even ground. https://fnsw.dribl.com/fixtures/?competition=gld45WOmW5Starts Friday 4th March. Maybe we'll actually have a full season this time. Everything crossed.

is there no relegation this season as next year NPL goes into 3 tiers of 16 teams? Also, why does NPL 3 have only 11 teams?

I tried that as well, there is a bit where you can enter an URL for it to sync off, it appeared to accept it but nothing came up in my calendar anyway.

I hope this is what you are asking: NPL, L1, L2, L3 (12 teams each). In 2023, NPL, L1, L2 (16 teams each). L3 only has 11 teams in seniors as Western NSW pulled out.

Got to be for a season opener. Seems all the long covid off season had the adrenaline pumping ! Nice getting off the mark, must have been a good tussle with the wolves being down to 9 later 2nd half. City down to 9 holding for the win. Sim wins for Manly. I really not sure why SO bothered with Donovan.

ah ok. Look at this level obviously he should stand out imo - depending the service and his movement. Watching him at a Cup game against SFC he was useless when they needed him most. Showed how he was whilst in AL. Are you guys getting the hang of dribl ? Looks like its for ALL levels, my Club informed thats our go to.

I was surprised to see Sydney FC. Last minute results as well - Blacktown City were losing 2-1 in the 87th minute and won 4-2 whilst Rockdale equalised in the 94 minute.

Happy with the 3 points at sutherland, that pitch is woeful to say the least, needs to be re-laid. is it going to be the same old story with marconi? Looks like Syd FC will cause teams problems.

I thought we were unlucky not to come away with something, thought we were better in the first half, SU clinical and experienced won out. The pitch is in the pipeline to be upgraded I’ve heard, after the clubhouse is completed, as bad as it is for a synthetic pitch it’s 10 times better than the grass we used to have.
