Didn't realise Dylan Ryan has been out since September with a shoulder injury.

Hrustic bench. Very competitive squad and hardly any injuries there. Rumours in winter suggest summer suitors will return.

+xSo most players were on the bench overnight Full game for Stensness. Last 15 for Hrustic in 2:1 loss. Ryan bench. Full game Behich. Juric didn't get off bench. No Francois for Fulham but maybe some bench promotion once they've sealed the league.

Karacic on for the last 10 minutes, Circati unused. Assist for Boyle in a 2-1 win.

Luongo MOM v Bolton https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/309823-man-of-the-match-player-ratings-vs-bolton-a/Shocking that Arnie considers rubbish like Stensness and Metcalfe ahead of him

Holland aswell played in europa and champions league for so many seasons straight and even played well last qualifiers that he played for socceroos yet doesn't get picked either. It's rediculous

Hopefully Olyroo's CB partnership with Circati

Still very young. Wonder why he wasn’t included in the recent olyroo’s camp. Unless he declined the offer

They play min 46 games per season at helter skelter pace so players would be fitter and sharper. Talent wise maybe not much difference but there would be veterans in the A league who wouldn’t get a game in the English conference. I would say A league is probably more akin to League Two.

Have to agree, in years gone by yes, but we have largely stagnated whilst League One has vastly improved.

From what ive seen the a-league teams try to play football on the deck whilst I still see kick and rush in the lower leagues in England, but otherwise thats the only difference is more games between them.

Lounge is nearly 30 and in league 1. I'd honestly rather see olyroo age players like Stensness and Metcalfe given a go. But arnie = evil so blah blah blah.
