Newy journo James Gardiner has apparently confirmed the signings of McGarry and Sotirio to the Jets. Wonder if the former has an Aussie passport or will count as a visa player?

He's a kiwi so he'll take up a visa spot.

Aren’t those just the players @ZizouSzn10 wants to sign? He doesn’t post transfer rumours, just talks about players he wants to sign.

Nope kiwi citizen only.

Think McGarry has an Irish passport - not that it would help the visa situation. I'm quietly optimistic about this signing. We looked much better with Murnane at left back last season though I have no idea why he was out of favour so much (fitness?). Anything except Hoffman at left back!

Wellington have let go of 7 players.

Bozinovski and Sandoval will return to their parent clubs, Sotirio and McGarry are seemingly off to the Jets while Hooper, Ott and Mogg haven’t been re-signed.

Piscopo is off contract and is “considering his options”.

Sandoval was quality. Surprised with how many Nix fans didn't rate him - I guess being hyped as better than Davila didn't help.

Hooper we already knew was cutting his contract short.

Interested to see where Piscopo lands. Still very hot and cold, but when he's on he's on.

Rumours been swirling around AAMI Park for almost half the season that Piscopo was coming to the Victory. Would fit in well with all our other very hot and cold wingers.

No base to this claim but you’d think brimmer, folami and daggers would at the least have suitors in Europe. I think brimmer is more than ready and daggers and folami aren’t far off

I think piscopo is the real deal.

It was reported on Channel 10 tonight that Mo Toure and Dukuly are off to Rennes.

Edit: I think it might’ve been Reims. They both sound so similar.

Yuel is off overseas. Destination unknown

Even though I saw a tweet saying this the other day, Channel 7 are reporting that Adelaide are in talks with him.

Mo is only 18 so he won’t be in the first team yet.

As for Dukuly, he probably would’ve been playing NPL next season so I have no idea how he got picked up.

Just hope they both get game time. Whether that's with reims or they go on loan to a lower league.

question being you quote Young ALeague players ready for OS, or lets say give it a go and shall they prosper,
As much as they play well re DDS and Daggers - they are 25yrs, they are leading by example now and are, matured, wouldn't call that young potential but my pov.
Maybe cause its Australia whereas as most potential abroad is under 20 or abouts.

My observations these young SFC players are worth a mention in your list

^ Totally agree. It’s so warped that we think of 20+ year olds as ‘young’. Quite a unique perspective we seem to have tbh as none of the other leagues I follow around the world appear to look at it that way.

I had heard that, but now kiwi journo Jason Pine has tweeted it I feel a lot more confident.

Strange move. Either he buys into Papas-ball or we sell him on a la Devlin!

Rahmat is not ready for OS, a-league is his level for now. I think he's more a player that should be aiming for 2 good seasons and then a move to K or J-league.
