+x+x+xNice. Hope this time kuwait stop time wasting Even 10-0 down they’d still be wasting time Totally but I honestly don’t understand why though? What does it achieve if you’re losing the match? These middle eastern referees are atrocious . They just allow this crap to happen game after game. Why would Kuwait even do it? I guess time wasting is now so ingrained in their psyche it just comes naturally.

Apart from the crazy backpass that hit the post the defense was pretty tight today
Could have a bit more cohesian in attack…

Really like Peupion. Seems to have no clear weaknesses, can dribble, pass, is quick and seems to have a pretty decent shot on him.

Trevor Morgan also ran the football dept at Westfields sports high for like 20 years. Brought though a lot of talent at that school.
Probably the most experienced youth coach in this country.

I felt he burned the ball way too much in the first half and threw around half a dozen passes that didn't get anywhere near any Australian player. He improved in the second half but I still think he gives the ball up cheaply.

I think Miller & JRB were outstanding - can see them both being Socceroos in the future. D'Arrigo, Najjarine, Brook, Peupion & Kuol were good. Would give pass marks to Bility, Francois & Farrell. Guaci didn't have to do much & was sound.

Guaci didn't have to do much & was sound. Francois for captain and Fulham was fairly quiet. Next game he can hopefully show a bit more. He hasn't played much at all this season. We could say the Roos have a lot of right backs now but it'S also so exciting that our younger teams have a hungry set of players in each position.

Imagine a pairing of JRB and Souttar in the future. They are some big lads!

So if we top group B the rest of our matches are on at 11:00 pm rather then 2:00 am if we finish second. I’m happy with that. Also looks like we’ll play either Qatar, Iran or Uzbekistan in the quarters.
one other tidbit is our Alex king is the ref for the Turkmenistan vs Iran match

Does anyone have any idea what this means?
According to the Wikipedia article for the 2022 AFC U23 Asian Cup, Iraq and Jordan (the other two teams in our group) have been awarded “Disciplinary Points”.
Iraq -2 Jordan -3

+xDoes anyone have any idea what this means? According to the Wikipedia article for the 2022 AFC U23 Asian Cup, Iraq and Jordan (the other two teams in our group) have been awarded “Disciplinary Points”. Iraq -2 Jordan -3 Jordan got 3 yellow cards in their game, Iraq got 2. It's used for tiebreakers but also will never matter: - Tiebreakers
Teams are ranked according to points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss), and if tied on points, the following tiebreaking criteria are applied, in the order given, to determine the rankings (Regulations Article 9.3): [4]- Points in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
- Goal difference in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
- Goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
- If more than two teams are tied, and after applying all head-to-head criteria above, a subset of teams are still tied, all head-to-head criteria above are reapplied exclusively to this subset of teams;
- Goal difference in all group matches;
- Goals scored in all group matches;
- Penalty shoot-out if only two teams are tied and they met in the last round of the group;
- Disciplinary points (yellow card = 1 point, red card as a result of two yellow cards = 3 points, direct red card = 3 points, yellow card followed by direct red card = 4 points);
- Drawing of lots.
I think it only appears there currently because they are tied on everything else (points, goals, goal difference, etc). After three games it's very unlikely that will be the case.

+xJust watched the replay. Francois was the worst on the pitch. Surprised he is captain I’ve also seen enough of JRB to know that he will get to the very top. He will be in the prem within 3 years. Bility should not be first choice next to him
