Lol at Baccus at Celtic. Just LOL. Lol even harder at Rowles at Celtic. He’s had perhaps one game in his entire career against somewhat quality opposition, the rest has been A league and UAE. Suddenly he’s an SPL star and Socceroos lock in for the next 15 years. No matter how hard we overhype players based on one or two games, only to discover they aren't all that good, we never learn.

+x+x+xSo every SPL game features an Aussie this weekend. Can we take a moment to digest how unbelievable this sentence is? Massive achievement, Ange may have had more of an influence on Australian football than Lowy or Warren by the time he finishes up. Getting the recognition in Europe and now clubs actually looking at Australian talent, is the piece we've been missing since the beginning. Yes, he's been looking for a legacy issue. Inadvertently he has found it. More power to him.

Agree re Baccus, but not Rowles. I've tipped him for the very top ever since he was captain of the Joeys at the U17 World Cup. He's been the best CB in the AL for the last two seasons and truly went to a new level in the WC qualifiers. Is going to be huge for Hearts and would've been a sensation at Celtic.

+xDunno if anyone saw but Barnsley have a 18 year aussie lad on their books. Hopefully one to look out for Hey mate. You talking about Angus Chapman or somebody else?? If Chapman, appeared in the U23's as an 18yo, missed all last season after injuring in knee in 2021/22 preseason. He is 19 now, but excelled in the U18's two seasons ago.

Exciting weekend for OS Aussies. DFB pokal starts and Stuttgart, Paderborn and St Pauli all in action tomorrow night.
Scottish premiership starts this weekend as do league 1, 2 and the championship. Ligue 2 is also starting this week.
Utrecht, Cadiz, Parma etc also have games this weekend with leagues set to start in the next couple of weeks

Yeah that’s who I’m talking about. I’m going to boro vs Barnsley In the fa cup and I was reading their team shocked to see an Aussie logo. Hope he can kick on we need a striker

if Rowles can do well this year at hearts and make the WC squad. I can see Ange going for him in the summer.

King bench. Slight concern at start of season but the faith last season shows he's of the level.

15 left. Stuttgart lead 1:0 but they've had a CB off so they'll be bus parking but Kuol could be on to hassle the play from the back. Tense game.
