I cannot recall an aleague level game with more brutal and deliberate fouling than that by Oakleigh. A guy runs full speed into the front of a Bulls player with his forearm raised and delivers a blow - and he only gets a yellow. Hollman got charged full on in the back when he was jumping for a ball and it was just a free kick. Davila got kicked to buggery the whole time. Arzani got plenty of solid connections on him before any diving appeared. All game Macarthur got kicked and thumped and in the second half they did give a bit back - but why would you not highlight the contact when you are actually being attacked in challenges. The ref has to stop it because the players are going to do it as long as they get away with it. It was a dirty game by Oakleigh and Macarthur showed real quality in being able to play through it and around it. That sort of play will bring more Bulls supporters than anything I saw last season. The better team won - with a notable highlight for the 13 year old Oakleigh keeper who got to run on in the dying minutes and kept a clean sheet (without any actual shots fired). No question that Oakleigh has really good players and can play as a team. Their goals were beauties. But the crap that came with their play should not be allowed when it can end professional careers so easily.

Should be an good final, I wonder where they will host it? Hopefully cheap tickets prices and decent promotion to get a decent crowd in because this years Australia Cup has been great to watch with plenty of highlights.
The Bulls have got plenty of good attacking talent and Sydney United have been very spirited with decent quality as well, should be a good one!

i thought Oakleigh held there own until there CB got an ACL injured and subbed off. that changed their structure, and after that they ran out of legs. Bring on Macarthur :cool:

Would of been electric, just not enough room in my opinion. also, the Final is dictated by FA, its all their takings, and decisions.

The Scottish junior league is way more harder than the senior leagues. BTW junior does not mean underage in Scotland, it is the step below the senior leagues.

As expected. No more NRL finals this at Commbank and has 2 weeks to recover from last night. I hope that the referee appointedwill clamp down on tbe diving antics by Davila and Arzani
