It is expected Souttar’s return to action is imminent, and could be back in action as soon as this weekend for Stoke City’s reserve team. The Potters will look to ensure as little risk as possible is taken with Souttar’s return as he looks to make an impression and be fully match fit for Qatar. “When you’ve been out for as long as he has and, not only that, when you’re 6ft 6in and you’re nimble on your feet and you’re mobile, you have to take extra special care with injuries,” Stoke manager Alex Neil said in mid-September. “We’ve waited this long to get him to this point and this last little bit is so important to give Harry and ourselves the best chance of him coming fit, remaining fit and having an impact in the team. “He’s made great progress and we’ll go as quickly as we think we can with Harry to get him back playing but not to his detriment.”

Stensness subbed on in the 65th minute and played through extra time in the cup. 1-0 win.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Bit of stuff on Aziz Behich role https://the-near-post.com/2022/10/12/hes-performing-really-well-behich-relishing-new-role-at-dundee-united/The Dundee Courier wrote that the Socceroo seems to be benefitting from his advanced role in a 3-4-3 formation under Fox.“Blistering Behich has been a major beneficiary of Fox’s astute switch to a mobile, energetic 3-4-3 from United’s prior 3-5-2 shape,” the Dundee Courier‘s Alan Temple wrote.“With Scott McMann shining at left centre-back — and able to scurry over to the flank when required — the Socceroo has been freed to bomb forward at will.”

Looks like Atkinson might be cooked... Similar to Rowles. False alarm.

Atkinson left pitch in moonboot apparently. It's really bubble wrap time and there will be some heartbreak.

synthetic pitches should be banned, double the amount of games normally played... our guys always going to get injured until we actually prepare them for europena football with a decent a-league schedule.

For those interested in Noah's progress: Noah has been selected for a Hessen State training camp from Oct 26 -28. The other keeper joining Noah is from Darmstadt 98.

Been keeping up with some of his updates on YouTube as well. Hopefully next year when the new Joeys cohort gets together Noah can get a callup.

Unfortunately it's not going to be easy to publish new film on Youtube. Some of the parents don't want public film of their kids. I've been taking iphone clips of Noah's Hessenliga games and towards Christmas might release something I've been working on unlisted but visible via a link. I might just have to post the link here since this is just a small select group of people. The quality wont be like the Go Pro or 4k film camera I have but will be ok.Just can't zoom past 1.6 on iphone otherwise it becomes a blurry mess to watch on bigger screens.
