Devlin drew a foul in the box. VAR saved a terrible refs call. Took like 4 minute for a cut and dry pen

How do that take so long? Ludicrous. Clear penalty.

Devlin did well to draw the foul. We’ve seen VAR not give those due to tight margins, but the ref obviously saw a clear and obvious error. However, for the Celtic penalty shout just before half time to be waived away, and the Celtic goal to be disallowed earlier with no VAR intervention (after much deliberation) was farcical.

Hearts look to be a great team though and are giving Celtic a great game. They’re certainly backing themselves and Devlin has been very prominent. Loving Mooy pulling the strings for Celtic too.

I spoke too soon.

2-2 Mooy with the assist from a lovely corner after missing a sitter minutes earlier. Mooy’s set pieces have been top notch today.

3-2 Celtic. Mooy’s shot from outside the box is saved and Maeda scores from the rebound. Aside from Mooy’s sitter, he’s having a blinder.

This match proved that Mooy is getting back to strong form at the perfect time and that we would do well to also have Delvin on the plane to Qatar. A real competitor!

Alex Robertson scored for man city academy after signing a new contract. 

Gersbach should really be mounting a case as the second choice LB for the WC. Plays every week (when fit) for a team chasing promotion. Also is versatile as he has been playing some football as a CM.

Great to see Mabil finally get on the pitch too.

Major concerns heading into WC are Ryan, McGree and Rogic, whose minutes have been culled and the obvious injury comebacks from Hrustic, Souttar, Rowles and Atkinson.

Scottish football is played with a lot of full on running.  That's obviously not Mooy's game.  And the fans suffer from bipolar. One week they love a player, the next they want him dropped,

Mooy and devlin were both good but let’s face it, no chance that mooy is getting the chance to spray passes around like that at a wc. 

I'm watching Syd v Adelaide. I think we will need Goodwin as LW for his set piece and his passing ability. He is very dangerous with his crossing skill and vision I don't see many of the Socceroos got this skills.

Celtic fans were speaking irrationally. “We’re 2-1 down. Why don’t we have our best squad on the pitch?” Mooy is slower than the rest of the team, but he makes the time far more dynamic.

Two assists, a third goal involvement, plus the disallowed goal would have also been an assist (and certainly should not have been disallowed).

Mooy’s set pieces were ON last night. But I agree, Goodwin’s set pieces are world class most weeks.

Full game for Deng and that's the season done. He's near definitely in the world cup squad.
