+xRajab impressing for Lebanon in the world cup. Gus sees him as a halfback or 5/8. Could be a bolter fir a starting halves spot at the Dogs at the start of 2023. No objections from me. I rate him higher than Hayward in the few games I have seen both play in NSW cup

+x+x+x+x+xSoooo… netball Australia… Got what they deserved as a result of poor management and leadership… or… We’re wronged; presentism is a just religion and Gina should apologise for something someone else said and hand over the coin… or should I take this to the burgeoning netball thread???… Not relevant but, interestingly… netball was called ‘womens basketball’ in many countries until 1970… when my mum claimed this last week I was shocked… and did my own research (sorry, I know this is not allowed) … the only question I have is what was womens basketball called during that time… I suspect MDog may have a one word answer… ;)
On this must say I’m not supposed MSM latching on to Chocs comments to push the presentism agenda after spending years smashing him about.. well…everything… from show boating in the ring to suggesting lies were told about a particular injection… Hack grub germoulists hypocrisy knows no bounds… they print without a hint of irony… no wonder their reach and influence is diminishing with each passing day… I must say I wasn't expecting Netball posts. My NFL team had a great win, after a terrible loss the week before. A lot of young players, the win will give them confidence. I must admit I have no idea what is happening with Netball. I might try to catch some of the T20 cricket sounds good from the comments here. Lol. Funnily, it has nothing to do with Netball! When Dman is in rant mode, it often has something to do with Grannies. His Granny told me changing the door locks and frequently moving house was just becuase she was bored, nothing at all to do with avoiding rants, absolutely nothing. When the granny tells you she wishes she had dementia so she cant remember Dman, you know how bad things are.....

The circadian rhythms got me after that

We have signed a young fullback with a good highlights reel and a 120kg, 6 foot tall, 20 year old prop.
Fullback isn't top 30 at present.
Welcome on board boys, great decision to come to a quality club on the way up.

Nelson’s got maybe an inch or two on him and obviously some hardness. But this bloke’s got a few kilos on Nelson and is flat and hard enough. And he’s only 20. He’s gonna be bigger than Nelson when he stops growing, maybe a bit shorter, but heavier and harder. If he keeps mobility he’ll run through or over whoever gets in his way.
Over to the crew to mould him.

He is a big strong boy but bear in mind he was playing colts this year, so maybe we need to wait a while before we see him as anything but a development player. He's over 2 metres not 6 foot.

If we win the comp in the next few years I think Gus should get the main gig at ATAGI… surely a 5 year plan is better than a 5 month one…

There’s a fullback or winger in his highlights that certainly benefits from his play… Gus def bringing a few young prospects with plenty of po into the fold… some will make it some not… #inguswetrus…

A huge prop is exactly what we need. It compliments Thomson and King. And allows Pangai to play edge or off the bench.
Gus is signing a fair few players. Hopefully this one turns into exactly what we need.

Josh Jackson has retired.
I didn't see that coming, but he was getting towards the end of his career.
True legend and 100% Bulldog.
Best wishes for the future Jacko.

Jacko needs to be kept around the club and given a job as a fitness coach or something similar. It’s very obvious he got tapped on the shoulder and has made a sacrifice because he loves the club.

Quite possibly tapped, but either way, he would have known himself the game is getting passed him. Great servant of the club through some early glory years but more importantly during some real testing times in the last 8 years....

I’m not a fan of everything Elon does… what I do love is how much he pisses off the majority of people I utterly despise…

As it stands I don't see see much value in JR being contracted next near. However now JJ has retired I don't see anyone qualifying for the veteran player allowance. JR would qualify and this may mean we could get him at no cost to our SC. The $188k allowance is probably enough to get him. The downside is he takes up a top 30 spot. Others I don't want that would probably qualify are Marty and Klemmer.

I'd like to see him be a regular in the 14 who can interchange with Mahoney on days we need to give him a break or even interchange with the halves in case we need spark. If that means push Burton to the centres, then so be it.

Try and push Burton to the centres and you'll lose him. Why do people keep mentioning this..he is not a centre.
