i think they got a 'few more' tricks but this is working for them

KM is simply too fast, too skillful and too good. - not many players can keep him quite in fairness

France should go far in this tournament unfortunately for us we will need to win against Danes and Tunisia now to 'have a hope' as our goal difference isnt great

im with Kewell we played to 'defensive' i mean sure even when losing

these Kangaroos can play football -

Nothing's been Ryan's fault directly but has he made a single save? He's just there to look neat with an occasional pass from the back. Might as well put in Redmayne for all the difference it would make.

He never makes saves. Just watched it go into the net. You could make a compilation of him just watching it.

FFS...why only one change when we were getting pantsed up and down the park. They've had some great shots, but they've made it look easy getting in to those positions. Ryan, Atkinson, Rowles all been guilty at times. We used to be world leaders at physical football, now we can't even do that. No skill, no physicality

Three routine crosses into the box. Three goals. How can we be so poor at dealing with these? Mbappe and Dembele were always going to get the occasional cross into the box. This should have been the one area we set ourselves to not be beaten.

Haven't deserved to make the last 2 WC's, let's be straight up about it.

2018 were carried by Timmy Cahill- and even then it took a fair share of luck against Syria just to get the chance against Honduras.

This campaign again we had to go the long way around and luck played it's part.

As exciting as it is to see the likes of Kuol and some of these younger guys- and as much as I want to take more than a casual interest in 2026- I'd rather we miss out than go around the back way again and sneak in.

As it stands I can't think of a nation that has a worse wins per games record in this competition. We are the WC equivalent of the bye. Every single other country who qualifies secretly prays they get us in their pool.

There are only two intellectually honest debate tactics: (a) pointing out errors or omissions in your opponent’s facts, or (b) pointing out errors or omissions in your opponent’s logic. All other debate tactics are intellectually dishonest - John T. Reed

The Most Popular Presidential Candidate Of All Time (TM) cant go to a sports stadium in the country he presides over. Figure that one out...

Irvine and Behicc been good.
Leckie solid but not brilliant.
Others had a good 25 minutes but kinda shat the bed.
Oh well just hope the confidence isn’t broken compared to Tunisia eeking out a draw

Rowles and Akintson are still on, so pretty clear GA is just giving them experience on the world stage

As for Ryan he gets paid to have the best seat in the house as a spectator.

Ok no goals are his fault but I haven’t seen him move towards a shot or cross in years.

He watches everything go on around him then looks dejected.

Can't just stop two of the best in world football because you thought about it and decided you want to

You can at least position yourself to get some body on them. There were two players on Giroud yet the header was essentially uncontested. You seriously think Popa, Moore or Neil would have been so soft?

No, i seriously don't. And the point has already been raised, our entire 11 look like clothes pegs. Not a single player out there able to bring any physicality. It's surreal that this is Australia

Behich has actually been decent to be fair, but Atkinson has been destroyed. Hard to blame him though… Arnold picked him and started him. The guy has absolutely no pace. Zero. He needs someone else backing him up,  otherwise no chance. Mbappe is a monster and Arnold has basically given him no respect in my opinion. All good Nathaniel, you can take care of him by yourself… he’s not that good that Kylian.

He concede plenty against France himself.

Not the same Langerak.
on the third goal Ryan should have come out and dive outstretched to stop the cross which is a normal goalkeeper exercise at training.I stead Ryan pulled his arms back and let it roll pass.
The fourth goal he saw the ball coming off Giroud’s head and didn’t even have any instinct to move. All that moved was his head watching the ball go past him.

Agree. But these have just been basic lobs into the box that should be dealt with. They haven’t been pin point crosses with pace that take the defenders out of the game.
