It didn't start with him. Ange had us in the same boat 4 years ago. The warning signs were there when we struggled to beat Thailand in Melbourne. There when we had 40 y/o Timmy Cahill more or less carry us into the WC single-handedly. 

This,  watching other teams that we compete with regularly get results, then why the fuck don't we ever get results. Is it because they have all their players play in the gulf and they have developed styles that lend themselves to having self belief they can win any time? 
It seems we have all our players go to Europe,  sit on benches or play in low leagues and see all these European countries and believe we can't compete before we turn up. 

Despite the poor game Atkinson won 4 to 5 duals against Mbappe. It's disappointing but he's got plenty of years left.

I do agree but on Irvine, people get fooled by his off field persona. On the pitch he genuinely is a tough scrapper.

Have to agree. The tactics were poor. Our team is mediocre, but we’ve seen so many teams over the years made up of mediocre individuals play very well as a unit and be tough to beat against much stronger opposition. I just don’t think Graham knows how to do park the bus and counter OR all out attack well.
