Can't really say Baccus did anything wrong at the goal. He had his man and a quick drink would've seen him free on goal. Had he noticed Messi he his eyes may have lit up to charge down. Unfortunate but this is still better than the likely 2:0 ht deficit so the coaching staff will be going to their contingency plan for this.
