I'm a victory fan and this has fucked us Yeah it’s not good at all. I'm sure 99% of victory fans feels the same way. Here was the chance to stick together against a shit decision and a handful of fuck sticks have ruined it. Nail head No. Because the APL just would have taken the walkout on the chin and carried on as usual. Have to admire the kahunas of the lads that invaded the pitch. Good on them. Went pear shaped after that as we all saw. Anyway fuck the APL. In some ways I hope this hastens the demise of the A league. Well this event does put it back on the APL to respond. They were probably chuckling away at some of the small protests so far and thought they'd gotten away with it. Now with this they're probably thinking 'ahh geez now we have to go back to work and do something. This will give me more work.'

Easily the darkest day for Oz football as far as I can remember, very sad but also very angry that it had to come down to this after the last 6 days when it just had to took an peaceful protest and then walk off but no we needed a few bad eggs to ruin it for everyone that wanted to watch the game.
This will set the game back for a long while, after the highs of the Socceroos success this week the game has suffered an spectacular own goal which I dont know if we can ever recover from.

Back in the NSL, they took the grand final away from Wollongong and moved it to Parramatta (where they got less than half the crowd than they would have otherwise). It was disappointing and annoying, but it never occurred to anyone to assault the opposing players and referees over it.
