I can’t remember the last time we signed a proven goal-scoring quality A-League striker. You will find he is only an impact player but a good one at that. Can't play a full 90 minutes.

Not directly Australian player news but Sunderland have signed a young CB from Everton. Hopefully it doesn’t affect Bailey Wright too much, who seems to be in and out of the team since they were promoted. Nothing wrong with rotating the squad across a long championship season, but given he already seems to be the 3rd choice, thought it might be a bit of a worry for his playing time
