Season defining game for Victory. Win and we make finals. Lose/draw and probably season over.

CCM v WSW will be interesting.Mariners have Kaltak suspended as well as Monty having to sit in the stand.Kaltak's physicality and aerial prowess will be sorely missed especially with Borello in such good form and the new player Layouni looking impressive.

Borello is coming into some good form, he's definitely pushing for a Socceroos spot.

City dominated early but after the head clash Adelaide came right into the game and ended up with more shots, more shots on target and a well deserved equaliser.

Adelaide the better side in the second half to win 4-2.
Another goal for Irankunda.

Ahahaha amazing. I want to kiss Irankunda. I had ZERO doubt he would score once he got body position and I don’t think I’d feel that with any other player in our team. Maybe Goodwin…maybe.

Another great game of football!
Even though Melb City are great going forward in attack and can play some great football but they are beatable if teams have a crack, their defence is suspect but also they have some injuries with no Leckie and it seems Berenguer wasnt used tonight so they look a little thin all of a sudden but still a strong team.
While Adelaide at home are great to watch too, I feel the Ibasuki sub actually helped them with Jovanovic doing quite well up front and helped make good forward and created space for Adelaide's midfield who played great after that as they had more control of the game.
And what else can't Irankunda not do? he's a very special talent, Adelaide are so lucky to have him and many other talents they have too.

Adelaide bossed most of 2nd half and have shown how City can be beaten- press and pass quickly cos the City defense isn’t always well organised. Goodwin and Irankunda goals were class. Imagine having G Kuol and Irankunda both up front for NT!

Kuol, tilio, mcgree, irakunda and possibly volpato is quite an arsenal of attacking talent

CCM played terribly against a WSW side who were up for it.A fiery second half with Marcelo sent of for a two footed and studs up challenge on Roux.A few minutes later Nkololo was red carded for an elbow behind play on Mrcela.
Cummings did not get much service but really over the last few games he has not figured much in open play.Borello,Layouni ,Amalfitano and Scheiderlin playing well for the Wanderers.

WSW look strong, not only they have great depth on the bench but they look to have found a good identity on the pitch too as they looked a bit lost with all of those new players in at the start of the season but they are flying and should push for top two quite easily now.
Nieuwenhof has taken he's game into a new level with Scheneiderlin helping push further forward too.

It’s actually insane that CCM and Adelaide are even pushing WSW AND MC when you compare the squads on paper.

Gotta have a laugh, I thought the corner was legit live watching on TV, as it appeared to hit the Victory player. The replay showed otherwise. Rather than whinging about that, Popovic should be livid with his forwards who had ample opportunity, but came up with zilch! When you need 3 points, whatever else happens, not scoring doesn't cut it.

MV forwards couldn't capitalise on their opportunities, however they were very strong at the back. SFC were non existant up front, but pretty good at the back. An incorrect decision was the only thing that separated the two teams. I reckon both teams could miss finals this season.
