That's so awesome. Lived in Portsmouth for a year. League One is a very good league these days with lots of football to be played and colour across the country. 

I'm just so glad the A League is now a place where other leagues look. Hearts definitely have a scout around and the EFL is keen to have a look.

There's clearly more to this story which will hopefully come out. Is he waiting to try and get an overseas gig? If Roar had the opportunity but didn't re-sign him and instead have gone for Acton, a clearly inferior keeper, then something is up, unless he was looking for too much money?

He posted on insta that he was in contract negotiations and then the club chose not to renew his deal.

I don't think Acton is any worse than what Holmes is tbh.
