I'm glad Nieuwenhof got an overseas move. He's got all the talent and has national team potential. I don't mind the SPL but did think his playing qualities may suit other leagues better.

The wage and career trajectory makes it hard to think how Souttar should handle his case at Leicester. They're still very thin at centre back and he's on the bench vs Spurs but pre season is very provisional until it gets serious. Swansea were keen on a rebuild but I can't see him going there on loan with that wage.

He's of the EPL grade. The rare upward loan to Sheffield or Luton would be something.

Brisbane has a pretty much full squad apart from the 3 foreign spots we still have free. 18 plus 3 more foreigners is 21 we then have majok and nikolovski on scholarship contracts, and waddington as an U20. need 2 more u20 players from the academy and then that's the squad limits.

a talented good player adapts as long as they settle in the environment/surroundings no matter the comp.
That shows they got it, if they can't means mentally they are not strong enough in a kind way.

I reckon he'll adapt. Injuries are what worry me with Nieuwenhof.

I don't see why they wouldn't.
Very quiet considering all the departures and gaps that need filling.
This long off season doesn't help. Last regular season game was 29 Apr. Next regular season game is 20 Oct. That's 25 weeks which is basically 6 months,
Compare that to the J-League which has 15 weeks off. The K-League (also a 12 team league), has 18 weeks off.
