What did you make of offside call for NZ disallowed goal Muz? Literally millimeters of head position in it?

+xWhat did you make of offside call for NZ disallowed goal Muz? Literally millimeters of head position in it? Her Sleeve was clearly off on the VAR graphic, I think that's what they go by these days so it seemed the correct call. Japan were dominant as expected, them and Spain will be through once Spain beats Zambia. Massive game tonight Canada v Ireland.

Canada with a goal just before half time and then one after. Canada well on top in the second half.

Felicitas Rauch, the German left back, is out of the tournament with a knee issue. Kira Walsh being carted off as we speak for England,

That penalty for Haiti. Interesting. Headed clear but the climb and arm to attackers head. Right onto the back though. VAR takes it back. I guess it's the right call.

They've been super impressive. Maybe we need to look at their curriculum. Kids in impoverished countries still play in the streets with often improvised footballs rather than sitting at home on various devices. They develop that necessary good first touch which then becomes instinctive and they are playing for fun.Later the better ones might get money for playing so there is a hunger to succeed.

Watched France Brazil tonight and Sweden italy. We are so far behind the place we don't have a hope if we get out of the group. And that's if we get out of the group.

Sweden play a hard & fast game with good technique- hope they can beat USA if they meet. Matildas need to deliver good crosses like Swedes do- probably Matildas best chance to score

+xJoe Montemurro, hosting on Optus, is as charismatic as a block of polystyrene. Knows his stuff but blimey. I really want to get into the optus daily show they put out but it's hard. They do coverage with the kids clinic which drags on. I wish we had pundits that were like the ones in England I don't care if they are male or female. Kate abdo and the lasses on sky are great. The former players are good value as well. Needs to be a mixture of informative but also funny
