Souttar and Triantis bench. Really time for Souttar to get a winter loan away. He's proven himself well in every game so it's not even a question of ability.
Luongo and Burgess starting.

Excellent strike by Luongo for 2:0. Moves to his left and just hits it on his left boot and it goes like a rocket with the keeper rooted to the spot.

Great news about Luongo, with Mooy & Rogic retired & Hrustic struggling, Luongo is becoming very important for the National team, we don't produce too many players like this.

Leicester concede late for draw. Ipswich very close in second. Ipswich keeping it ticking over nicely. Got to remember they're a promoted side. Minimum now is the playoffs but the way they play they've got every chance to go automatically.

disappointing for Souttar I'm sure after the WC last year he probably had offers for other EPL sides. I was hoping he would end up at West Ham think that would be perfect for him.

But anyway the two CB's are starters for Belgium and Denmark.

Maresca is looking at the whole squad he has at his disposal and wanting to get the best out of the best player he has.... If he thought Souttar was a better CB he would obviously play him ... there isnt any nationality bias... if there is the bloke is a moron. ....

yeah everyones biased. If you have a cricketer from spain and another from india, subconscious bias will affect you
a football player from singapore in australia won't get the same patience from fans as a footballer from brazil, even if they are the same level. One mistake from the singaporean and people will accuse the club of skimping on money and not buying good players
unfortunately, as far as europe is concerned, we are the spanish cricket players or the singaporean soccer players.
Golden generations happens for minnows because once a couple of players break the glass ceiling, a few others give players of the same nationality a go.

So do you really think a club wanting to push for promotion to the next tier on the pyramid would sign 3 x players for a position who they didnt think could fill the roll and NOT play the best player because of his passport??? C'mon sometimes we have an unnecessary chip on our shoulder. Sure there is a perceived bias against the quality of Australian players but a club doesn't sign players NOT to play them..... unless its one of the top 6 who are warehousing and farming off players for profit.

Yes if you are clearly better than your teammates then yes. But if they are about the same or just slightly better then the nationality of the players could play a big part. If Souttar becomes Van Dyke for Leicester surely they will play him. Don't forget ... reading football fans comment they think the Aussies are only good with physical but low football skills. The norms & stereo types are aussies are good at rugby NOT football. It's like if you are the coach and you have 2 players fighting for the same position with exactly the same level of football skills ..one is Japanese another 's from Myanmar. Who d you play in the starting line up?. That Myanmar player must be clearly 2 times better for the coach to put him first.

Danes and Belgian players probably considered to have better European football ‘pedigree’

Bos scored. Good game individually for him, starting to complete a lot of his dribbles
that has been a hard adjustment for kuol, he has struggled to beat players as easily as in the a league
