+xIs Stamatelopoulos a potential bolter for the Asian cup? Lad is only 24 and has heaps of confidence How many of his goals were penalties though?

Yengi’s hold up play looks way above the league
on the down side he misses a very gettable chance

Robertson is a lot weaker as a 10 than he is as an 8

Yengi uses his strength to get through on goal but his touch is heavy.
needs experience to get that touch extra composure
he then is held in a full nelson by the defender and the ref mysteriously says it is fine :D. Referreeing is weirder than the spl
meanwhile petersborough and bilakovic are in the auto promotion spot
In the spl not watching today but atkinson and rowles are up 2-0 against celtic
hibs passing stats are really growing, and miller got the first half.

+xDefinitely think the a league is a bit better than league one LMao you've watched one League one game and announce this. I've watched every Portsmouth game this season and League One overall I'd say is better. Better ball skills, better positioning, better fundamentals. it's hard to compare because Portsmouth play proper football and also are basically a championship team but still the opponents are solid as well. A-League is too counter-attacking to be considered better than League One. I'd say A-League is more physical but technically and with ball at feet League One surpasses. Portsmouth would ruin every A-League squad.

Technically the a league is ahead of league one imo.

Parma played most of their game with just 10. They maintain a skinny lead on top of seri b and circati with a full match
would love them to get promoted

Watching oniell
might switch if garang comes on, though ive never seen a side as hapless as volendam. I think they would struggle in the ereste divisie (did they lose players after getting promoted or something?). They have so far treated garang well so hope they see better days

I feel like Australian football has to stop holding a candle to lower English leagues.

Incredibly, volendam is up 2-0
they have been parking the bus the last two weeks, happy with like 10 percent possession lol
Seems to be working today so far

Hmm worried how garang gets on with this new parking the bust style unless he improves his defense a ton

That keep up arricle about garang might have been misinformed but it was also accidentally prophetic
with the change in style and formation i dont see garang starting as his defence isnt good enough to concentrate in a deep block for long periods of time. He probably still gets subbed if they are trailing at the hour mark. but if it is even or they are ahead they probably sub on defensive players

Lots of football there.

I feel like Australian football has to stop holding a candle to lower English leagues. It's hard to tell because there isn't a big difference in player quality between league one and A league like there is between EPL and Championship. The A league is probably more technical and tactical whilst league one is probably more fast and physical. If you slowed it down to A league speed it would probably seem more technical. The league one clubs have bigger budgets so the reality is they can afford to buy better calibre players.

Irvine starting. Metcalfe & Iredale on the bench. Pretty important game for St Pauli - last game for a month & Top of the League at stake.

Couldn't watch but very happy for Iredale. We've got to squeeze him in somehow. Maclaren has to be out but he won't be. Fornaroli is surely now in. Duke and Yengi definites. How's McGree coming along? Might see that spot open up but I hope not.
