what do you guys think the formation is? 4-4-2 diamond looks the most sensible with that line up but heard 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 as possibilities

I think we can see some shifts too in attack or defence. Seriously glad as had we named Jones, Duke and Behich (if he were fit) I'd be pretty disheartened.

+xIs it nearly a full house at CommBank stadium? Doubtful as they've been pushing ticket sales for so long. Headlines of 'a big turnout' not 'sell out'

All my apps say 8:10pm kick off yet Australia official website says 8. Can't compete with Japan starting at 23min past the hour. Any reason for that? TV ads and anthems a bit like baseball?

jordy arriving late is why he is not starting
fair enough.
Look, this is a side where most players are interesting to watch
burgess distribution for ipswich is epl level with some real defence splitting passes playing out the back. Would love to see some of that tonight

He's more on the right for club. He sees to linger well in pockets and if he gets the pass and positioning right it opens up some stuff. Of course I can't wait to see Robertson who has a more 360 degree capability and we'll see the ball distributed to places we didn't think imaginable.

Taiwan Kyrgyzstan goalless at break. Kyrgyzstan a man down in this crucial away game as they beat Oman last and Malaysia are undefeated. Would be very refreshing to see one ASEAN and CA team advance over an ME.

Every time I have a Lebanese student in class and they learn I'm from Australia 'I have family in Western Sydney' Same with Greeks for Melbourne of course. Their eyes light up. It's nice.

I guess it was just for comparison purposes but the fact Arnold had to mention Leckie, who's been out for ages and Behich being missing doesn't bode well. They've been excellent servants but it's really time to embrace this next bunch.

Baccus first few minutes have been chaotic proven by his cross that has gone into the goal.

Let's hope that gives Baccus confidence to always improve rather than think he's now off the hook and can continue his complacency. Early wayward pass annoyed me not to mention how few we were in build in. 3 Australia vs 5 Lebanon could see deadly turnovers in we're asleep.

Jordan mean business 2:0 in Pakistan already. Got to dig themselves out. Kyrzgstan now lead in Taiwan which is good.

Feel like this game with McGree on the left would really suit Bos right now. Would recommend bringing him on at half time

Irvine has to get more central to help Baccus with options. Rowles currently really odd in passing and positioning.

Seemed it as that cross field pass by McGree. He then jogged and pulled up. Pointing downward somewhere. Really frustrating that as I want him to start racking up caps and goals.
