Not a surprise to the slightest the game this weekend has been moved, can’t control freak weather in a place it rarely rains especially at like that.

Maybe they can move the Nix fixture to be fair, but this was always going to happen unfortunately.

The opportunities are there you just have to look for them.

🚨 Fixture update 🚨

The Central Coast Mariners can confirm that our Pink Round match scheduled for this Sunday against Adelaide United has been postponed.

Sunday will now see Our Paradise host our historic Liberty A-League Semi-Final as a standalone fixture, now scheduled for 3pm.

I think the AFC Cup needs restructuring. Ridiculous that West Asia has an expressway to the final and you could argue it isn't right geographically that Kyrgyzstan and Australia can meet. Despite that, I actually want the AFC to be total mixed around to remove the ME advantage they give themselves by avoiding East Asia in the group stages. It's just tricky with the cost and distance.

I think Central Asia and the South Asia regions would have more feasible travel between themselves. As would WA and CA. I'll contradict myself and say that at least for WA, Australia has direct flights into many of those places. Europe isn't exactly comparable and the Conference League has become a fun thing for many clubs with the group stage offering a lot of good football. I initially thought an expanded version with even more teams in a more local sense for early rounds (like the EFL Cup) in a home and away leg knockout tournament would be the go. That way the teams less interested can just throw themselves out and spare 6 group games and the serious ones can plot a long run into the tournament. The Hub match rounds were good but it is tricky with all the league schedules.

It appears that the AFC Champions League 2 (rebranded AFC Cup from next year) has been rejigged to the old Champions League format (32 teams, 4 groups East and West, Knockouts split until the final) from next season.

The problem is the travel through the AFC is a lot more challenging and costly so if the APL and FA want the clubs to take the continental competitions seriously they need to help them with scheduling of games it’s part of the reality in Asia otherwise what’s the point of being in the AFC in the first place?

Every nations in AFC rescheduling of their domestic league for their clubs why can't our FA do it?  If not then we should stay away from AFC and go back to OFC. This is disrespectful to the competition.

Football Australia doesn’t schedule A league games that is done by the APL who ,since the split from then FFA, are totally responsible for the running of the domestic league.
As for returning to the OFC I can’t see what that would achieve.
