Ugh, the Java version of Sonic on Master System is terrible.

Just picked up Bresh (800 coins), Macca (1000) and Cahill (3000) on ultimate team.

And also won a 6th trophy :P

WTF! Ive just heard about this Ultimate Team, and Ive gone onto the website but the summary tell me fuck all. What is the difference(alot on new detail is great but does it change the gameplay, etc)?

Gameplay's the same, you just start with shit players till you can afford better card packs which may bring you better players, and they can have cards which give you a different kit etc. Ive nly got the demo, but i dont think im gonna buy the full version

So is it like your in manager mode? Or are you starting a whole new club from scratch(ala 442FC)? Like I said, the summary leaves alot to be desire of.

Depor - in game stuff is exactly the same (except for being able to use 'Gameplay Cards' throughtout the match, such as Shooting Boost, Strict Ref etc) but you buy players as cards. You need to get contract cards to extend their contracts, and you get Training cards, Staff cards (Head Coach, Fitness coach etc) and stuff. You also have club info cards, (jerseys, crest, home stadium, etc) to customise the team you create. Its quite awesome,

You start a new team, and create yourself to be captain of it. But at the start all your players and jerseys and stuff are crap.

How do you get new cards? do you have to be constantly online?



What league do you play in? Are all the other teams "new teams" aswell?

You dont play in a league. You play in just one off matches or in cups. There are online cups and club cups, as well as online and club matches.

You get new cards by buying 'packs'. Bronze packs generally have players between 50-65, and are 500 coins, which you earn from playin games(the better you play the more coins you get), or selling cards online. **
Silver packs are 2500 and you get players between 65-75 generally. Gold packs are 5000, and thats where you get the big guns.

You can also buy packs with MS points, 20,40,80.

You also get Skill Points from every game you play (again, the better you do the more you get), and you need a certain amount of skill points to enter each cup.

It explains it all when you get the demo. I heartily recommend it.

Online buying and selling of cards is in an Ebay style auction.
You set an asking price, and the length of the auction, and if you want, a 'Buy it Now' price as well.
So, thats how I got Macca Bresh and Timmy. Big bargains too :P

I dont know what to think. Its an alright concept, but Id have to download it and aply it first to know for sure.

The whole cards thing also makes me feel as though implaying some sort of japanese fighting game instead of football.

I'll let you know when I get the demo(I know you only care so I can swap cards with you. :lol:
