iGN have given GH: Metallica 8.9/10.

It's not a radical change from the formula but the song list is the best bang for your buck out of all the GH games.

I just finished my season in manager mode and noticed that VDS was the only player with 1 month left on contract and about 5 others had 12. So i decided not to renew them except for Vidic and thought ill wait till i get a bit more money then renew the others. However, when i go into my team management screen, it only shows vidic in the team and the others have all gone. What the hell, i thought they had 12 months left....

Oh. I'd just assumed we would be playing matches whenever someone was online. Oh well.

I've improved my UT team alot. I switched from getting coins to buy bronze packs to buy contracts, to just replacing them with better gold and silver players. It takes a bit of searching, but I was able to find quite alot of english, 4-4-2 players.

I've now got a team made up of:
St: Created Player
St: Silver

RW: Silver
MC: Gold (Hargreaves)
MC: Silver
LW: Bronze

RB: Gold (G Nev)
CB: Silver
CB: Silver
LB: Bronze

GK: Gold (I can't remember who it was now).

My main problem now is alot of my silvers and golds are coming to end of their contract. Which is annoying.

Just won the Gold Mediterranean Cup with a Tense 1-0 win in the final v Galatasary

Had to beat Porto (3-1), Roma (1-0) and... Somebody... cant remember haha.

Haha. Chem is only 30. Australian frontline. Everything else is all different. Might go for a Brazillian midfield to complement Diego...

30 chem /o\ I beat a team with Robinhno, Buffon, Kaka, Voronoin and another half-dozen gold players with my shit 1 and a half star team today. Chemistry is the key.

I couldn't agree more. My team is now up to about 50 chem and there is a massive difference when your playing compared to when i had 30 or so...

How? Its not like my team play worse.

Im obviously just blind to it now. But im not downgrading my team just for Chem.

It is though. The difference between my first team with shit chemistry, and the one I restarted and filled with english only is huge. Same shit bronze players, but they play about 15 times better. They are faster, better at shooting, passing, defending, keeping, you name it.

When I had the team as just bronze players, but the chem above 85, I was destroying other 1 and 2 rank teams (with bad chemistry) by 5+ goals regularly, and have won games against teams with 3 and 4 stars.

But how do I improve chemistry without fucking up my team. I could get a whole bunch of 4-3-1-2 cards and change their preferred formation, but I dont want to do the whole Nationality thing and playing players in precisely their position is too restrictive. I play CAMs at CM, CBs at LB etc.

Just try and line players up...you have an aussie strike line so thats good and try and you don't have to get the same nationality everywhere just a majority around the area. It helps when they're gold as well as it ups it even more. Believe us imno it makes a difference!

For the Fifa thing between us, I reckon we should make it best of 3 each round, places more emphasis on skill, and consistency.
