Hopefully Burton to 6 for the whole half in the second half... I think I get. What CC has done with the late out... But if we want the 2 points then Crutch to play 0 minutes on 2nd half...

Burton has to switch back to the halves, he's not involved enough in centres and that's why Kiks is not seeing enough ball either.

Well he is a very good Centre outside of anyone but Crutch... That said he's amongst the the best 5/8s in the comp... And that's where we need him ..

I'm trying to understand the logic of CC's team selection tonight. An experiment perhaps and if so then an absolute shocker. Burton to centre does not make any sense. We also dropped too much ball, Roosters hardly dropped any and they're playing on the same pitch. Poor old Curran had a shocker, feel fir him. The bye did not do us any favours either.

Poor team performance tonight. Exemplified by the inability of any of the halves (Sexton, Hutch, Burton, Hayward) to do anything against 12 men for 7mins and then 11 men for 2mins.
Roosters were up for this game and handled the conditions much better. Errors cruelled us when we were still in touch with the scoreboard but we still didnt look like we could make our way upfield amd score.
A tough game for the coaches to figure out what went wrong. Just too many poor performances but Kiraz, Skelton and Salmon can hold their heads high.
Sam Walker played us out of the game.

I'm disappointed but I suppose they had to have a loss to bring them back to earth. The bye possibly upset our momentum. I maintain, Ciraldo's decision to switch Burton from 5/8 to centre to accommodate Hutch is a bizarre decision and it back fired massively. We had no potency in attack. Our recent success has been built on Burton in the halves. Kiks had a quiet game and Curran the poor fella had a shocker. We'll be without Tracy next week now. Kiraz, Tracy, Skelton were stand outs. Skelton should be in our starting side. And I'm not going to say anything about Hutch.

Too many errors from us. The chooks didn't need the ref to gift them possession. It was just a piss poor game all around and I hope CC's fascination with Hutch in the halves is finally given a lethal injection. At this point in time this game has shown we are not yet ready for finals footy but we are only at the halfway mark and hopefully this game was just a hiccough. As for Marki, dude put your cue in the rack and give up. Your self praise for thinking Ciraldo finally listened to you and put Burton at centre and Hutch partnering Sexton has derailed your credibility as a coach. I don't think the chooks fans should crow too loudly either they displayed nothing that show me they are contenders either, just lucky with a smattering of thuggery thrown in for good measure.

TTAAFFEE or Perham to FB next week???...

TTAAFFEE or Perham to FB next week???... Probably Taaffe or Kiraz. I don't think that the wet conditions suited us, we Probably needed more size in the wet. Chooks were really on and hardly made an error in the wet. Playing Burton in the centres was because CC didn't want to try you Clark or Samarini. I think that Hutch kicking the ball instead of Burton cost us. I only saw the first half in a pub before going out to dinner. Down in Sydney, I am going to recommend to the relos that we start work on an ark. Wet doesn't suit us, they wanted it more, hard for a smaller side to beat a bigger side in the wet. Moving Burto out of the kicking rooe wasn't great. Cheese's kick bounced at right angles for a 40/20. That sumed up the game.

Game was lost in the first 40, me leaving the pub after that was the final nail. I don't know how Marki expects small guys to win a game in the wet against a big team who makes fewer errors. We did it against the Dragons, Knights and Parra, but tonight was another level of wet and the Chooks executed. The bad kicks from our side in the first half were mainly Hutch. The game was won o field position and posession, speed was largely diluted and that was the area where we had the edge. Tracey and Wilson not effective. If it is wet again next week, IMO Taaffe at FB is a bad gamble.

we were winning when Dr Marki was out of the country- out of Mock range.
More size, some injured players back and less rain will help us - all of that should be coming.

TTAAFFEE or Perham to FB next week???... Yes, very strange selections from CC. What on earth made CC think bringing Hutch into halves again would work. We have already experienced his poor direction and ineffective attack when he is calling the shots in the halves. Hutch was a failed experiement so CC needs to let it go. I'd say Taffe would be the better choice for FB next week.
