I played Pokemon quite a lot a few years back. I gave up when I figured out it took a lot of patience.
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

I loved it on my Gameboy.
Before I lost everything on the computer, I had Gameboy emulators and a few game roms on there, Pokemon was a favourite.

Yeah back when the Pokemon craze started ('97/98), I had the games. Red,Blue,Gold and Silver. I stopped there though. Suprisingly deep RPG for the target audience though.

I was too young to actually understand red and blue so i only played a friends a few times but Gold/Silver was by far the best...Massively long which made it so much better.

I remember Gold and Silver quite well. I had bought the Japanese versions while I was in America and managed to beat the game without knowing any Japanese.
I was 13 at the time too.

I gave up on Pokemon after gold/silver/crystal. There's too many fucking Pokemon now, 150 was a good number, 250 was as far as it could go, how many are there now, like 400? And they look fucking stupid too. But yeah. Have a Gameboy emulator on the PC, still play the old ones sometimes.

I'm pretty sure they are gonna re release the gold/silver ones for DS's like they did with red/blue to fire red/leaf green.

I'm surprised it's gone this long without falling over like all other fads. Nearly 15 years since it came out in Japan and it's survived in the rest of the world for over 10. Distinctly remember saying to my mum in primary school, "I need to get Pokemon cards, or I'll lose my friends". It was fucking true, the craze was incredible. If you didn't have em, no one would talk to you.

There was always that one kid who had the rare card you wanted but you had fuck all to trade with him. I remember I bought Charizard for $25 just to save my time and money buying the fucking booster packs.

TBH, I never got into the cards that much. Preferred the Gameboy Game by a long way.

Im hooked on Guitar Hero... PS3 controller felt so weird when I picked it up to dust it.
When I was in EB the other day I saw an AC/DC game that appeared to be like Guitar Hero but wasn't part of that brand.... anyone got any info/recommendations on it?

So I went to trade TNA in at EB. I only thought I'd get like 5 bucks for it cause I only paid $24 from JB. They gave me $25 for it! I was fucking stoked.

Yeah you just got to remember to peel off the 'pre owned' stickers and they'll trade them in as new. :P
The other day i forgot to peel the sticker off the manual and the huy goes "wohkay, its a pre-owned, it's only worth $7". #-o
