What people's experience with any of the current racing games? Haven't played a racing game in ages, not since Need For Speed Most Wanted. Any recommendations?

I own GRID, Forza Motorsport 2 and Need for Speed : Pro Street.

It depends on what you're after...arcade or simulation??

Last racing game I played was the latest NFS one, I can't remember what it's called. That's a hint that it's crap and easy and repetitive.

Probably leaning more towards arcade, though which would you recommend as the best for each style?

Arcade - GRID is decent, the structure to the career is alright etc.

Simulation - Forza 2 is quite good, im not the greatest fan mainly because i really suck at it, but friends that play simulation games reckon its quality.

If only Gran Turismo was on the xbox - the greatest racing game ever.

Just having this discussion with a mate. Awesome places/things that could become Call of Duty Online maps. So far we've had;
-An airplane, much like the bonus level on MW. But a huge plane, like the A380. Hvae 2 or 3 levels, would be nuts.
-A skyscraper. So not very big in terms of space, but have it take up 7/8 stories. Have an elevator. Don't know what you're going to end up in. Could be nothing, could be the firefight from hell.
-This Place. Would be the most incredible map ever.

I have to agree that last place just looks like an epic COD map already!! I was so excited just looking at it.

the whole story for MW2 about the whole server info, its complete bullshit, a few people i know have cancelled there order,

in summary when you go online to go to pick a server one with the same bandwit etc they asign you one, they play 'matchmaker'
