Duke is a funny one. If he does well, it's very noticeable. If not, it's harmful as we need to get the other strikers playing. I think Yengi should be the incumbent. Duke, Iredale and Taggart are handy. Apo might fade or kick on even more.

Sadly, it appears that whatever qualities it takes to be a successful manager, Harry lacks them. This was a big opportunity and probably his last. There is only so much rope.

Was Kewell hired based on an Ange or Muscat referral? Coaching team at Celtic to Yokohama is a big jump. Managers need a shot eventually but Kewell repeating what the others had done plus the inevitable drop for most clubs shows it was unlikely to succeed.

Bayern sign Olise from Crystal Palace and are targeting Simons also. Both 4-5 years older than Irankunda. Of course Bayern need to recruit regain their dominance and it's such early days for Irankunda.

I just kind of wish he'd gone to a lower Belgian club and been very impressive there from the outset. Nothing gloomy about the situation but the wishful thinking that he may even make a match day squad, let alone train with the first team, appears on the outer.

The situation is so simple but fees so weird too. We know what he can do but he needs to settle in too. It's just the past record of our players getting bogged down at big club reserves and they hoard talent. As if Bayern really care about one players not making it when they have the capital to keep poaching from other clubs. Thankfully they have a good loan culture so here's hoping a winter loan at the latest to a first team.

Great news about Nestory, having looked through the youth squad there's not a whole lot of forwards lighting it up... many have their deals ending 2025. Wagner had 15 in 28 games for u19s...if Nestory can score a goal a game... it will be hard to ignore him. The fact he's already makes me think they want him to make it.
