Yeah I couldn't believe some of it, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
But very interesting reading. As you said Graz, it does look like the beginnings of the district-franchise thinking. Clubs wanted to expand their base but didn't know how to go about it.
And the pro/rel discussion has hit me a little. I've been very for it, but geez they make some compelling points in there. Stifling club development one of them. It feels like they've always been convinced that true pro/rel won't work here. There will be expanded selection criteria, not solely performance. It's pretty much licencing. But we just don't have enough clubs there yet.
The second tier really needs to be a success. And then the third tier bring themselves up close to that standard, which is what Johnson has mentioned at the NST announcement.
