Damn. After a promising opening FCN score 2 in 2. Aalborg defence is poor. Midfield not quick in transition defence.

Firm left foot distance shot straight at keeper from Iredale. Got to loosen up and bit and start shooting. That's a start.

Another free header
Some early promise from aab tho for the season despite the scoreline
With duke and iredale so far starting at a level well above the a league with yengi and toure to come....this is the best our striker stocks have been since mcdonald and kennedy

FCN are very well drilled and a tough nut to crack. Aalborg with some alright movement. Fan comments suggest a very inexperienced side so they'll need to stock up a bit more. I see one of their very experienced players is on the bench. Iredale's off the ball wandering has to be rewarded with passes. The centre backs are too cautious. Their little midfielders are trying. The fullbacks are nowhere and the wingers are just a bit off.

darrigo very busy in defence. He seems to be defending deep but often wide on the left too. Can't figure out his role

Metcalfe hasn't started under the new manager at St Pauli. Even with Irvine out he's on the bench.

+x+x+xDoes anyone know when bein release their schedule for August? I want to check which matches they will broadcast and at what time Anyone? Their TV guide is a week I advance so you may just have to wait. Unless they have a release article announcing the biggest clashes? St Pauli have a lot of individual match slots so there's a decent chance they'll be shown. Cool thank you

+xDoes anyone know of an up to date list of OS Aussies? It’s growing so much it’s hard to keep track of. I maintain one. I also update soccerway, transfermarket and playmakerstats. Covers males, females, coaches, national teams and players that haven't found clubs or playing amateur/youth levels. Not done since the end of the May due to the window being open but shoot me a DM and I will add you to the distribution list. This goes to the FFA every month.

To think Zelvia are leading the league as a promoted side is nothing short of amazing.

Yokohama hold on for the 2-1 away win to league leaders Machida Zelvia for Hutch’s first win in his first game as their manager!
Translating the Japanese comments on Twitter, they’re all saying that Hutch has completely changed the fluidity overnight, and that the team played way more high energy and attacking today than it has all season.
Really does make you wonder about Kewell’s ability as a manager unfortunately…

Duke’s goal was a fantastic Cahill-esque header. Google has the highlights up already as a ‘story’ that you can click through.

I know people hate on Duke but man if he’s playing like this, starting for the best team in the J.League, you have to at least have him in the squad as an option. Would be crazy to write him off for Australia when he’s performing at this level.

Lachie Wales got another two assists in the K2 tonight. In the two games he’s played, he has 1 goal and 4 assists. K2 is his playground.

Would be crazy to write him off for Australia when he’s performing at this level. He keeps coming back with good things which is promising. I guess it just that the others get fewer minutes, thankfully Yengi has picked up plenty of late, and that fear of having someone block the others out and we're kept wondering. His style against certain types of opponents is valuable and that WC goal was absolute class.
