Metcalf and mcgree usually play wide for their clubs so in principle you could play them with with some combination of 3 of  ballard, nisbet, oniell, robertson, irvine, neiwenhof, devlin and baccus

Volpato is a cm that can also play wing and striker too. So in theory you could play 6 cms haha

Max Ballard was excellent in this game, set up the first goal with a good challenge and forward pass.

I just question why don’t more of our players play in leagues like in holland where it’s more technical instead of the rough and tumble style in some parts of the England and Scotland. 

Iredale on 2nd half

I noticed most of our players get contracts at clubs that have a history of aussie players. Shows the real subjective element of scouting but we definitely need more in belgium, buli 2, seri b and netherlands if we can work on building up those club connections

Iredale misses a sitter :( bit of pressure on him surely but he has talent and this is an excellent level if he can make it here and see out this tough period

Iredale with a few knocks ahead and the acceleration a real asset. Game is done. It's not that it's bad but Aalborg still are disjointed and the service into the middle is terrible. Brondby is a very good team.

Not sure what may happen if the coach is fired. As a bigger Danish club just returning from relegation, they're in a bit of an identity crisis.

He wouldn't be on the bench if it was fitness. Bit of a joke all that rubbish about losing him to England. Our younger players can be so overhyped. Can't be helpful to them. 

Bench at a club like that isn't bad, but he's there for the paycheque, not to play.
