Yeah, I'd like to see Harnwell with the captains armband. I really don't see Coyne fitting into the starting lineup this season, and I don't really rate him as much of a player, either.

hmmm ... if vrteski did sign ... would they play vrteski or juric and backup to tando, with the other playing in the youth squad as one of the overage players i assume? They need to get rid of juric badly, poor guy, coming from germany and most likely expected to play reguarly, turned out to be hopeless.

^ on LTF when Eamon was mentioning the rumour, Juric would become a coach (along with Mark Lee who is a good youth coach).

Yeh he did say that, and that's what i thought he meant but i wasn't sure so I didn't but it on the blog...

lol ... if juric was a keeper coach .... hopefully he would teach the keepers that they do actually need to me agile and move quickly when in goal lol

Perth Glory will unveil their latest signing, former Derby County and Blackburn Rovers enforcer Andy Todd, this afternoon - as well as their new strip for next season and another international player capture.

Todd has been in WA for the past week to show his family their new surroundings, following previous stints at Bolton, Charlton, Blackburn and Derby - and will be unveiled this afternoon following his medical clearance this morning before he returns to the UK.

Socceroos winger Mile Sterjovski has been the Glory's other main target - apart from Alvaro Recoba who effectively ruled himself with his multi-million dollar wage demands.

Glory have been in a race with Gold Coast and Central Coast for Sterjovski's signature ahead, after nine seasons abroad playing in France, Switzerland, Turkey and England.

Purple shorts and white socks I read too, which is perfect - just breaks the purple up enough without taking away its prominence. Didn't go too complicated with it - I reckon it's just right for Perth
