I completely disagree. Sometimes you get personality clashes and someone just has to bite their tongue. Or at work for example, I have to act nice towards people that I loathe. Or as someone else said, you might want people to actualyl behave themselves around your parents, etc.

Music is a personal thing. You can't judge something just because someone else says it's not taht good. Personally I thought it was a good album. It just wasn't Metallica.

After every game of touch I rage about this. Always some guy who has nothing in his handshake.

Well after my soccer game last weekend I had injured my hand so I went to shake a guys hand was like "Dont squeeze to hard I hurt my hand" and slowly pulled my hand up and away hahahaha He was wtfing.

When I was younger used to hate shaking hands before matches because the other person would see it as a competition to see who could rip the others arm off.
In the older junior matches it was who can crush the other person's hand which I didn't mind because I had stronger hands than most other people after all I had practice. In my family if you have a weak grip you are going to be in for a lot of pain, as your hand will be crushed and grinded.

In some cultures the weaker, but much longer handshake is the done thing. They'd probably say the same thing to you pulling your hand away quickly.
