I wouldn't be putting a 7 year old in an environment where he's exposed to those kind of morons.

How dare I take a child to a football game, seriously like who the fuck does that?

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Why would you take the kid to a game where you know there's going to be lout opposition fans? Take the kid to a North Queensland, Perth or Gold Coast game and you wouldn't have that problem.

He went to the game because he loves the Jets and he hadn't gone with me for years, and as for the Sydney fans, you'd expect some respect and manners especially for a child who did nothing, said nothing or will ever do anything to offend them

That may be so, but that doesn't mean that you should be exposing them to that kind of environment.

If a child is watching tv and stumbles across porn and profanity, is that the tv network's fault or the child's guardians?

Get over yourself, I didn't expose him to anything as they walked up to me and abused us for no apparent fucking reason and also having been to the vast majority of Jets home games we have never, EVER had to deal with misbehaviour or disrespect from any other sets of fans.

So by your stupid logic, kids shouldn't go to games as they are poor environments?

Of course you haven't had to deal with problems from other fans, other fans have respect. But what did you expect from Sydney fans? As I said, you wouldn't have had that problem if you were more selective about the game you took the kid to.

I never said the kid shouldn't be taken to games, just that taking him to a game where the opposition fans have a reputation for being muppets wasn't a bright idea.

Maybe right that opposition fans can be morons, but that is not the fault of a 7yo kid. Maybe, instead of 'solving' a problem by keeping the kid at home, perhaps action should be taken against these hooligan lowlifes.

Think about it. Who has more of a right to show up to games? An innocent, 7yo kid or a lowlife hooligan who will pick on an innocent, 7yo kid? On top of that, Sydney were the visitors. Doesn't a kid have the right to show up to support his team in his own city without being harrased?

It's more practical and easier to take the kid out of the environment than the environment away from the kid.

You're always going to have dickheads who support certain clubs. All I'm saying is, choose your matches more wisely.

Like I said before, if it was a tv program, it'd be your fault. Why is this any different?

Afro, I couldn't have chosen another match as it was the first time in several months that I saw him due to family issues, it was that one or bust which makes what happened today even more insulting (although fair play to them they didn't know that)

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

I guess there is some truth in that, but football should be a safe environment for kids to go out and support their team. For a 7yo kid to be harrased, that's embarrasing, action should be taken against these type of hooligans. They should be the ones taken out of the 'environment'.

Going to a football match is not like a biker club, pornclub, casino, e.t.c. It is an activity all types of people should be able to go to. An it's not right if the supposed environment is hooligans harrasing 7yo kids.

Sorry I won't do that to you again.

Seriously every single club has their bad eggs. I'm not defending their actions, but to say all SFC fans are cunts is fucking ignorant, biased and idiotic.

I've met some fucking annoying pricky Melbourne fans, and some fucking great guys too.

What are you going to do? BAn all sydney fans? Nothing can be done about the attitudes of the fans. It's more practical and a better expectation that more is done to protect the youngsters, rather than to ostricise the travelling fans.

As I said, the kid shouldn't be going to a game where the fans have a reputation for being trouble makers.

Marconi thats disgraceful. You should be able to take a young lad to a game without them being abused for supporting the other team.

I mean when you go on away trips you expect to cop some flak but you'd never have a go at someone who doesnt resemble a fully grown man that can stand up for themselves. Its low. Theres always going to be a bit of niggle between the fans but families are off limits.

Id write an e-mail to Newcastle and Sydney, I dont know what you'd get out of it but if there anything like Melbourne they'd acknowledge it and try to address it as best as possible.

And RTB a bit of :-$

If they were HOOLIGANS they would have done far worse, there just idiots, probably pissed. Know what a word means before you use it.

Most of these incidents are hushed up or ignored. Purely from what I can recall;

I got jumped by a Sydney fan the last time I was in Sydney after the game.
You've had timmybare saying he's been attacked
Marconi's nephew has been the target of criticisms.
Scores of Melbourne fans were trapped in the away bay last season and assaulted by Sydney fans while police officers stood and watched.
Last season they damaged public property in their away trip to Melbourne.
Likewise the season before.
They also damaged the stadium in Adelaide earlier this season.
There was a young girl attacked in Brisbane last season by Sydney fans.

I would bet my life that you could find the exact same amount, if not more, by other fans of incidents the same nature. Except for Central Coast cause they have no fans.

Not defending any of this, it's horrible. I know there are mega cunts in Sydney FC. I know there are too in Victory ;)

i can't comment on the others because i'm in no position to comment or state wether these are true or rumour but with this one i'm not sure... which game are you talking about the valentine's day game or the major semi... there we're problems with the valentine's day game but that didn't involve sydney fans that was mv against the police... with the away game thing i think you gotta look into the number of people who go to away games, Sydney and Melbourne arguably have the biggest and most organised away game crowds so you'd assume because there's more people there's more likely to be more dickheads then say a traveling group of say Central Coast fans... although we could go on about Melbourne's troubles in comparison?
