That's gross, but welcome to Flinders st. You haven't seen confronting until you've seen a miscarried fetus in the men's urinal. Fucked up. No idea how that even gets there.

Or worse still, a patron at crown on Monday had his penis cut off in the toilets by a loan shark and his wrists slashed. They found him standing in the middle of the men's room in complete silence. Two security guards fainted, one threw up and another 10 are on grievance leave. It's the most insane thing. The security footage is fucked up.

Love that pic, mus.

Welcome back Afro, I actually sort of missed ya, things are so quiet without your 'eccentricity' :P.

WGMG: Calls in to go to work. They are relentless

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

I can't say I went out and ate a great big bowl of spaghetti bolognese after that either...The cock story has been the talk of the town at crown all week. It's fucking crazy - the kind of thing that you'd expect to see in a Tarantino film, not the kind of thing that happens at Crown.

WGMG: Forgetting everything I learned in high school.
A guy came into work and printed out all this stuff about Savonarola, who I studied throughout Years 11 and 12 in History, but when he mentioned who he was, I could only remember tiny snippets of information.
Annoying, because History was one of my better subjects.

Yeah, industry specific books can get expensive. Fortunately the lecturers usually just photocopy the pages involved or put them in a pdf and upload it to the student portal.

I go to a private business college in the city. That is with a 10% discount as well. I know some of my mates at Uni don't get discounts.

It's done through the college. I found some of the textbooks online and they were the same price or more expensive.

I guess that's the advantage of going to a "rural university" (yeah, cos Wollongong is rural) - there are many more things in place to help out lower income students, such as grants and scholarships. One I applied for this year gives you $500 at the uni shop if you're on Centrelink. Brilliant.

I totally empathise though, my friend doing law spent $650 on four books last session. It's highway robbery.
