You need to be more proactive about your studies. Stop expecting them to come to you. It's tertiary education, you have to go to them.

That assignment that you're complaining about not being able to hand in today - you should have had it finished and submitted on Friday knowing full well that you had obligations today that would stop you from handing it in.

IIRC, Gastroscopy means it goes down your throat. Neither sounds like a fun time tbh.

When I had it done they sprayed an anaesthetic on my throat and just went about it. Worst feeling ever.

I think they do that too to make it go down easier, but my doctor said I'd be sedated as well. What was it like?

Did the actual procedure hurt though? What was yours for?

Mine was because I was having stomach problems, vomiting for no apparent reason. Turned out it was a combination of an infection and stress.

It didn't hurt, just feels horrible/weird trying to swallow something that you can't swallow that's constantly stuck in your oesophagus.

I knew someone would go there! :lol:
